Yup. Wow .Pace certainly isn't afraid to make moves.

I've been on the fence on this. If this does happen he better have results. To me, the biggest FA and trade moves usually don't seem to turn out very good.

 

It’s the team biggest need and pass rushing has been the teams biggest defensive weakness for years.

I'm a bit worried about the cost. If he cost (2) firsts and over 80M Guaranteed that is an insane investment. We have the cap space and that is what it is there for, but its the cap space + the picks that worries me.

That said he is also *exactly* what we needed and needed badly. Fills the only glaring hole on our roster and fills it perfectly too. Fangio is probably so juiced.

(2) firsts is a hell of a lot. Pace really thinks we're ready to win right now then. Better be a 10 win season. Im trying not to be a downer as he is so ideal for us. Floyd-Roquan-Trevathon-Mack is digusting.

The defense having a chance to be dominant gives Mitch and the offense time to develop and relieves some pressure on that side of the ball.

 

Ha, I guess a fun way to look at it is the Bears juat gave up the opportunity to pick Kevin White and She McClellin.

 

2 first rounders? Ugh. Way too much for anyone but a franchise QB even someone as dominant as Mack. Although to be fair Pace hasn't hit on a first rounder yet, so maybe this is a net positive.

And I agree with Go Bearss. Pace obviously sees us in win-now mode. 11-5 or bust.

 

I'm seeing people speculate the "player included" may well be Trevathon, which makes no sense. I hope thats just mindless speculation.
