My work sched changed in the weirdest way. This is really the only date I can have it without it being a chore or risking being M.I.A. Well that and the next day but I have another league the 28th and rather not have my 2 only free nights before labour day be about drafts.
You live on this board anyways Joe. What is a little draft action going to do that you aren’t already doing?
So is this on for tonight or tomorrow night? Thought I saw on FF that it was changed to Weds the 29th? Either way works for me, just want to make sure I don't miss out. I had an online draft last Sunday with a new group I have gotten to know out here through a guy from work. Completely forgot about it. My WRS are great but I see a lot of RB waiver wire chasing in that league.
It's for tomorrow night so we wouldn't lose a member. The one guy that appears inactive is my brother so he's good. Actually I'm trying to get 1 more to join so it's an even numbered league.
Ok, I lied. Due to that little thing called life that gets in the way, I had to wait until 3:25 PM Mountain Time to crack the first Modelo Negro. Should give me time enough to dumb myself down the rest of the leagues level.(says the guy who drafted Jordy Nelson @ 12 last year and won a whole 4 games). My plan this year is not to draft a WR until the 10th round or later.
At least El Jeffy didnt draft 4 kickers to go along with a player no longer in the NFL. I witnessed a draft last week where a guy drafted Deangelo Williams in the 10th and then followed that up with taking 4 kickers over the next 10 rounds. His ending roster also had 5 qbs and 2 tight ends. His draft in order (yeah it was so bad I took a picture that is how I am able to list it here) Odell Becham Jr (1.5) Rob Gronkwoski (2.8) Cam Newton (3.5) Michael Crabtree (4.8) Dak Prescott (5.5) Jimmy Graham (6.8) Lamar Jackson (7.5) Carlos Hyde (8.8) Ted Gin (9.5) Deangelo Williams (10.8) Justin Tucker (11.5) Pittsburgh Steelers (12.5) Teddy Bridgewater (13.8) Matt Bryant (14.5) Tyrod Taylor (15.8) Josh Lambo (16.5) Jesse James (17.8) Theo Reddick (18.5) Adam Vinatari (19.8) Justin Jackson (20.5)
Okay the thing is you can take one QB or one tight end in the first four rounds but not both. Not only did this guy take one of each in the first 3 rounds, he took 5 in the first 7.
