Panthers do 10-game packages, plus the half and full seasons. During the year, they'll usually have promotions for 3-game packages, or something like that. Those in-season smaller packages aren't the best seats, and not the biggest discounts, but it's definitely better than nothing or paying full for one game.

There's nothing like watching live hockey. I'm good with the balance of watching it on TV for 75% of the year.

 

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman will be inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

Bettman was one of 11 professionals from across the industry named to the 2018 induction class, which was announced Thursday. They will be honored at a ceremony at the New York Hilton Hotel in Manhattan on Dec. 11.

"This year's class continues our strong tradition of honoring those in our industry who have made a difference both in front of and behind the camera and even in the executive board rooms," said Ken Aagaard, Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame chairman.

The Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame induction will come a month after Bettman is inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto on Nov. 12.

Among those joining Bettman in the 2018 class are tennis commentator Mary Carillo, longtime NBC Sports broadcaster Bob Costas, sports documentarian Bud Greenspan, veteran broadcaster Jim Nantz and ESPN college basketball announcer Dick Vitale.

Seguin is PO'd at the Stars for not signing him long-term... I don't blame him. This cant be healthy for their situation and I don't understand Nill's problem here.

 

The Stars seem to be one of the worst ran teams in the league. They, at times, are loaded with talent but can’t get over the hump no matter how close they are. Perpetual mediocrity.

Vegas Golden Knights defenceman Nate Schmidt has been suspended 20 games for violating the league's Performance Enhancing Substances Program.

 

This has to be some screwup, banned substances don't give you better hockey iq. I'm against injecting steroids, but some of the other ones can accidently come from muscle oinments.
I think they might be going too far.

 

Krug & Chara will not be playing for the Bruins in the China games...

and I dont think Krug is even skating, not sure on that but last I saw of him he snapped his ankle in the corner against TB.
