IDK, I thought the accidental misuse of a Latin phrase that was actually correct due to the context was pretty amazing, but that got shot down.

My point was I would hate to see how big of assholes the bears fans would be if they went winless. O or 0 wasn’t what I was talking about. You guys have handled your franchises incompetence very well. But I hope you guys become our division rival and the Ravens fade away. Good luck against your other 14 opponents besides the Steelers.

I chuckle every time I am going through my feed and there is an article about how the Bills are bad or how Allen is no good and above it I see "liked by Sam".

I'm also borderline disappointed if I don't see it.

It's not often you can point to a/an 0-16 team and say they'e better than several other teams around the league. I'm living it up.

These guys need to hit me up, Im at just under 17% over the last year. In all fairness its with much much much smaller amounts of money, and the year before was about half.

If the plan is let Baker Mayfield get extended playing time tomorrow night, I sure hope they don't expose him to big hits by trying to protect with guys that are getting cut on Friday....That's my biggest concern. I've heard he may play into the 3rd quarter, so lets make sure they protect.... If they can do that and run the ball a little, I expect Baker to find a rhythm and have a big game....

That could be an issue... The "starters" are not playing, except that Kevin Zeitler is playing to get some action before Pittsburgh. So, now you are taking one element from the line that has been playing together and changing out a piece. I agree it could be more detrimental than it's worth.

I'm looking for some feedback on Jarvis Landry.

The guy comes in and is "all about" effort, toughness, etc.... and I watched with all the rest of us as he failed twice to even complete the "out" pattern in the end zone not once but twice. He's complaining about D backs getting in his way; no chit sherlock.

Then Haley calls him out for the sideline pass he gave up on. I am still unsure whether he could or could not have gotten a hand on that pass, but the fact that I'm not sure doesn't square with his comments about the pass being out of bounds as a reason. That ball landed roughly 4 yds out of bounds, so was at a catchable height as it passed over the line, but since he stopped so early, I can't tell if he had a shot or not. I just felt it was the same as in the endzone, where he didn't keep fighting to get there, and I expected more from him.

I think he's feeling the weight of being the #1 guy, and isn't used to dealing with being doubled. It's frustrating him. I get that, but "if" we can put a deep threat on the field, he will still be very effective, just not the deep ball guy, he may want to be.

Haley, on the other hand. I've heard some criticize his calling out Jarvis, but IMO he was justified, maybe not on that particular play as a single example, but his overall effort to get to balls. Haley then apologized for yelling at him, and explained that he's relying on Jarvis to set the standard, and that he was dissapointed in the effort. I don't want to see this blow up, but I think his point was on target.

Others say it was "undermining" Landry's leadership with the players, but I disagree completely. We can argue whether any given ball is catchable, but not completing your route is a recipe for disaster. What if a DB had the deep zone and picked it off while Landry was cruising?

    Thoughts?
