dline... We were all throwing out conspiracy theories ever since he left before the start of training camp...it went along with the theme "For Fucks Sake".

The only people getting bent out of shape are opposing fanbases.

In the end, he's back, there was no league involvement, let's get over it and move on already.

As for "BITCHY QUIPS", I've said it before and I will say it AGAIN. This isn't a General Message Board. This is the CLEVELAND BROWNS message board. If you don't like reading "BITCHY QUIPS" stay the fuck away, or stay and read them and ignore them, I don't care either way. When you COME TO THE CLEVELAND BROWNS message board, you are more than likely going to read "BITCHY QUIPS", so get used to the "BITCHY QUIPS" or leave...or hit the ignore button.

You should see how hyper sensitive the Bears board gets if an opposing or unpopular viewpoint gets floated by over there. And all I said was the Bears FO was looking like a bag of dicks during the Roquan Smith holdout... and then one of them took the topic off-track to come at me with some “personal” shit.

    I have as well...

Now, I simply read everything and keep my mouth shut unless it is an EXTREMELY neutral post as not to offend the locals. Now, they come to the Browns board and get offended here. It's out of hand...If you don't want your feelings hurt, don't post here. We have PLENTY of Browns fans to keep this board going. As much as I DO enjoy outside input, and I sincerely do, I don't need smart ass comments, especially about MY smart ass comments. If you have something intelligent to add to a subject, by all means add it. Beach was staying on point and gave his 2 cents...or more like his $9.99 worth of his thoughts. When it doesn't align with someone else's thinking, he badgers it home until the subject gets old, but at least we can have banter back and forth about it. dline just comes in and is offended that I disagree with beach... I really don't care that HE is offended.

The ironic part of this whole conversation is that I have to hit Show Ignored Content to see d-line defend me.

Bears fans are crazy. I’d hate to see them if they went through a 0-16 season.

an 0 - 16 season. You're better than that Gid, don't sell yourself short.

  9. I've been following this thread and I'm now lost. What exactly is the argument with everyone? Is it that Josh had to get clearance from the league or that he didn't?

My sister in law works for a law firm in Texas that handles a lot of player stuff for the Cowboys and the Texans. I asked my brother if she had any idea what any of what I read on this thread meant and she said that Gordon has to get additional clearances from the league because he's in the substance program. I wasn't sure what to think because they said on the radio that Hue was quoted saying that Josh had to get league approval after they took him off the list but I couldn't find that quote anywhere. I do know that Josh has to keep the league updated with all of his contact information and if he changes phone numbers or anything like that and fails to immediately notify the league it can be considered just as big of a violation as pissing hot.

So I'm thinking that Josh probably had to get the NFL to sign off on him coming off of either list he was put on by the team not for being on that list but because he is in the substance program and it changes how league approval works for him. It could be that they wanted more info on where he was and what he was doing while he was away from the team and since he switched numbers and stuff while he was away there may have been some gray area that the league was interested in. Either way he will have to get additional approval as long as he is in the program when it comes to team abscenses.

  10. And what's the deal with Bears fans? Don't they have a losing franchise of their own to go bitch about?

This is really all I have been saying from the beginning. There was some additional approval needed from the league for Josh to rejoin the team.

The overwhelming majority of people believe he needed league approval. Some don't. It was never that important but who says we have to argue over important things?

I keep writing and deleting this but, it's bugging me so...lol

It actually is a speaking suggestion, not a rule of thumb here Dogside..

So I have to defend Gid on this one.

If he were saying "O" and Sixteen, then I agree 100% with you...however, if he says Zero and Sixteen, then he wrote it correctly.

The mass majority is going to say, "O" and Sixteen, but grammatically, it should be Zero and Sixteen.

OK, got it off my mind, now I can go back to work, lol.

Irish that's a little troubling..... But if it puts your mind at rest, amen.

    Beach. Well said!
Honestly what topic do we discuss on her that is "truly" important. Not that it diminishes the passion or ardor of the argument, but really what does it mean in the grand scheme of things. So shoot from the hip or the grassy knoll, and we'll all fire back, as we see fit. Just no "live" bullets.

HAHA, It wasn't really a big deal...I know he was just jabbing at Gidion, but it's a pet peeve of mine when someone corrects someone on a message board. People are usually typing on a phone or in a hurry and there are a few people on here that correct constantly...NOT Dogside mind you, others from other boards... Anyway, in this case, I just thought a little more correction needed to be clarified. It was all in jest...

When I am at work, I have up time and down time, so when I am down, I check in on the boards..every now and then, something sticks in my head.

When I imagine any steelers fan speak I automatically imagine that they will do my biggest pet-peeve and say the letter "O" for "0" zero.
