For the record . . . After reading the full report linked in Will's post above, I agree that a suspension was in order. The length of the suspension can and will be debated ad nausium for a while. Some haters will still maintain he should have been fired while the Bucknuts will piss and moan that the University caved in to media pressure. Urban admitted he acted out of loyalty to his mentor and Zach Smith's grandfather (Earl Bruce). "I chose to use my heart instead of my head". His heart cost him three games. It is what it is. Time to move on.
You don't find the nature or execution of the report / investigation questionable? What did you think of the findings therein, specifically? I'm legitimately curious, as I have yet to have a chance to read the report.
I didn't see any facet of the investigation or report questionable. IMO, it was fairly factual. It started with outlining the backgrounds/credentials of the investigative team. Based on the span of time they were looking into, it appeared to be surprisingly detailed. When no smoking gun was present and they had to come to a conclusion based on what they found, they provided the logic by which they came to their conclusion. To me, their logic appeared to be sound and/or reasonable. Overall, it did not come across as biased either way.

IMHO, she got what she wanted. Her ex-husband was fired, because of that, she'll probably get full custody of the kids. If she wanted more than that, she should have pressed charges against her ex when she was advised to do so.
One other thing . . . Where was CBS sports' outrage when this guy was coaching in the SEC? Same primary players (except for Gene Smith), same exact scenario. Different conference TV alliance?
im sure there was stories and reports about Meyer at UF as the laundry list of misdeeds was long. i don't think it has anything to do with the conference.
I dont know about that I think Myer is only the second coach put on leave to actually survive the investigation in the last 10 years or so (I heard it on the radio somewhere dont remember who was the first).
Cat . . . With CBS it has everything to do with conference. If the "laundry list of misdeeds was long" at Florida, why wasn't CBS all over Urban then like they are now? Answer: the SEC is CBS's saturday bread and butter.
it happened years before lyman so i can't recall what they reported on. im sure they didn't skip over reporting it.
