that was a young Debra Winger 3 yrs before Officer and a Gentleman. I had to look at her face to see if it was her. Mercy was in Streets of Fire as it's the same director and then the older daughter of Ted Knight in tv sitcom Too Close for Comfort. Now that show had an idiotic premise but Ted Knight made it go a very long way.

58 hrs in 1936. love the movie. way too much rosie o'donnell yapping. the house Hanks and Gary Marshall walk out of to offer hanks the job is the restore home and now museum of the McCormick spice guy. I was at the house and it's amazing.
one small issue with the scene at the end. there is no escalator in the baseball HOF like it's shown in the movie. to get to that exhibit and the 2nd and 3rd floors you take stairs.
i still think Davis dropped the ball on purpose to give her sister the thrill of victory after being told she was never good enough to be in the league.

Midnight Run, in addition to being a really good movie, is also one of the funniest movies I ever saw.
