Yeah that's exactly what I said. Word for word...lol! smh

  2. TopDawg Legend

I can't actually hear you, but I would imagine hell yes....

Holy shit. I know you're old, but people usually don't go senile until much later than 50. Hell, Lyman is one of the more well-put-together and intelligent posters on these boards.

You said that you could have each QB throw for accuracy, and Mayfield would be among the top 5 or 10. I asked you to list the QB's more accurate than him. You said there may not be a list - that Mayfield would win it. So, no, it's not word for word, but you're saying the same thing - that Mayfield is, currently, the most accurate QB in the NFL.

I was wrong - you're not just a homer. You might be stupid, too. But I can't be sure, yet.

  4. TopDawg Legend

Name all the QB's that you have heard of that had a history of inaccuracy, that suddenly became accurate because of coaching or whatever...lol!

    (hint - It doesn't happen...)

You can't teach accuracy ...It's like foot speed. You got it, or you don't.

  5. TopDawg Legend

If your going to keep this going, at least learn how to read and or comprehend...I said Baker COULD win an accuracy competition among NFL QB's...Nice try with your bullshit.

It's not that he's alone he's just so far out in front that even SAS and Irish can't catch him:bravo:

    :rally:

You have said, up until now, that Mayfield is already one of the most accurate QB's in the NFL. You trying to backpedal and pin calling him the most accurate in the game on the word "would" isn't my bullshit, it's yours.

Which is it? That he has the potential to be one of the most accurate QB's in the NFL? If so, who's better than him?
Or is it that he's already the most accurate QB in the NFL, and therefore we don't need a list?

Pick a position and stick with it, you giant homer.

  8. TopDawg Legend

SAS and Irish have both said many times that they don't want to see Baker Mayfield play at all this year. So I'm guessing they are in agreement with the way Hue wants this thing to play out...I'm not. Tyrod is not our future.

To be honest TD I have a feeling that sitting Mayfield is more Dorsey's plan and not so much Hue.

    P.S.

    The future is so bright:cool:

  10. TopDawg Legend

Yes. I think he's one of the most accurate throwers of the football on this planet. WTF am I being unclear about??????

No I'm just sticking to the truth in the conversation. You claimed that I said Mayfield WOULD win any accuracy competition, and I just pointed out that that was a lie. I never said that. I said he'd finish in the top 10 of our fictitious accuracy competition easily, and maybe top 5....Then you asked me to list all the QB's that would finish ahead of him, and I simply stated that there might not be any list. Baker COULD win a competition like that...

I know you are a major troll and all, but you'll never get the best of me....

  11. TopDawg Legend

I agree. But Hue is the head coach, and I think it's ultimately his call.

  12. dlinebass5 M.V.P. Bears

I'm just trying to get you to make any sense at all. Even a little bit. I haven't even gotten to the part where you said a player can't get more accurate, which is a whole different barrel of absolute crazy.

Name the more accurate passers. That's all I have ever asked, and you've refused to do.

  13. TopDawg Legend

Sorry. If I dumbed it down so you could comprehend, it wouldn't be any fun for the other readers...
All I asked you to do was list all the QB's that dramatically improved their accuracy through coaching or whatever, and you have refused to do so. lol! (that's because you can't)..

I feel certain that Brady, Brees and Rivers are pretty accurate. Do I know for a fact that they would beat Mayfield in an accuracy competition of some sort? No I do not....That's why I didn't list anyone dipshit.

This isn't true. Mechanics play a huge role in being able to throw a football accurately.

  16. dlinebass5 M.V.P. Bears

Holy shit. I tap out. You are stupid. I didn't want to presume, but... It's inescapable. This is next-level idiocy.

Anyone else want to try and make sense of what TopDawg is saying, or can we all agree that it's completely nonsensical? Alright, moving on...

I guess the allegation that experience does nothing for developing accuracy is just going to be left by the wayside, unless anyone else wants to back TopDawg up. Because only a guy that stupid could allege that throwing the ball more doesn't help make you more accurate. Truly remarkable stupidity.

  17. TopDawg Legend

Okay Beach...Name all the QB's that came into the league with accuracy problems, and dramatically improved

  18. dlinebass5 M.V.P. Bears

Oh, that's good. But to everyone else, I submit this:
His college stuff doesn't even matter. That article? Useless. Why? He's already one of the most accurate QB's in the NFL. Right now. Not "could be", "would be", etc. - he's top 5 most accurate, right now. Maybe behind Brady, Brees, and Rivers, but only maybe - he might be able to beat them in some sort of contest.

  19. dlinebass5 M.V.P. Bears

    That's not what you said.

... That's not what you said.

Holy fuck, dude. Are you sure you're only 50?

  20. beachbum M.V.P. Manager Steelers

One thing to keep in mind here is the system he is playing in. It's a lot easier to throw an accurate ball out of the shotgun than it is under center having to take a 3,5,7 step drop. There's more going on mechanically. Also, the spread formations make completions much easier at the college level. I'm not suggesting he doesn't have natural ability to throw an accurate ball but he's not going to complete 70% of his passes at the NFL level.
