Don't forget about the beatdown in the hotel lobby, where Corey Coleman was clearly involved, but had no problem letting his brother take the fall... Corey Coleman is an energy sucker...I used to have co-worker like that. He sucks the positive energy out of the room and permeates negativity...Good riddance. Glad he's gone...Who wants that on their team? Browns were fortunate to get anything for CC. That dude doesn't love football. I don't even think he likes it. I've seen Junior High School players with more drive and effort.
I'm in the Buffalo market and no one is banging on Coleman. He's already mixing in with the 1s and he will be the opening day slot receiver. I don't know his history real well in Cleveland but I'm going to look at it closely today.
carson better get back real fast or nick better get that shoulder healed quickly or their record could be ugly out of the gate.
That last sentence was put badly. I just think he's going to get more looks in preseason then the regular season. Brown, Bell, JuJu will get the lion share of targets when games really count.
Reports: Isaiah Wynn tore his Achilles Thursday night... Patriots first-round pick Isaiah Wynn left Thursday night’s game against the Eagles with an injury that will reportedly end his rookie season. According to multiple reports, Wynn tore his Achilles and will miss the entire year while he recovers. Wynn was playing right tackle on Thursday night when he was injured. Marcus Cannon is expected to start at that spot in the regular season, although he’s been out of practice the last couple of weeks. Trent Brown is the favorite to start at left tackle with LaAdrian Waddle back as a swing tackle once Cannon is healthy. Ulrick John, Matt Tobin and Cole Croston are also on the depth chart at tackle. The Patriots have also been without their other first-round pick (and Wynn’s college teammate) Sony Michel as Michel recovers from a knee procedure. He is expected back for the regular season. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no it doesn't. It eludes to toughness. There's no need to put a spin on something that is black and white: “I don’t know what the f---’s been going on here,” he said. “And I don’t know why it’s been going on here. But this ... if you’re not hurt, like if your hamstring isn’t falling off the f------ bone, your leg ain’t broke, I don’t know, like, you should be f------ practicing. Straight up. That s--- is weakness and that s--- is contagious as f---. And that s--- ain’t going to be in this room, bro. That s--- is in the past, and that’s why the past has been like it is, bro. “That s--- is over with here, bro. If you can f------ practice, f------ practice. You can’t get no better — ain’t no one going to get better being on the f------ sideline if you ain’t f------ hurt. If you’re not f------ hurt, you’ve got to f------ practice. You should make other motherf----- work even f------ harder. Now they’re at risk of getting f------ hurt because you don’t want to f------ practice. Because you’re being a bitch. “Straight up, man. That s--- is f------ real, bro. I’m just letting you know. That s--- ain’t happening here. I’m hurt and I’m tired just like every f------ body in this motherf-----. But I ain’t taking no f------ days off because I can’t be great that way. That’s got to be the f------ attitude and the mentality all the f------ time. All that week s--- don’t live f------ here anymore. That s--- don’t exist. It’s contagious, bro. It’s really f------ contagious. It’s contagious. … That’s all I wanted to say.” At no point did Landry elude to "laziness". He called the guys sitting out practice (this doesn't include Coleman because he wasn't sitting out) weak and bitches for sitting out. He talked about being hurt and tired himself but he still isn't taking a day off because you can't get better on the sidelines. His words don't need interpretation. His message was very clear. You're making this up to support your argument. Just stop. You ignored the comment the first time so I'll say it again. Landry specifically used Coleman as an example earlier in the week of a guy who was beat up and wanted a day off and instead fought through it and had a great practice. I'm an Athletic subscriber. I read everything Browns, Bengals, Baltimore (Zribec just started as the new Ravens guy for Athletic) and Steelers naturally. This is sentence is more Irish BS. "Every day" - GTFOH.
Dez Bryant leaves Browns visit, discussions expected to continue... Wide receiver Dez Bryant said when he arrived in Cleveland on Thursday that he was “just trying to work out some things” with a visit to the Browns. That visit extended into Friday, but it came to an end without a deal being one of the things that Bryant and his agent Kim Miale worked out. There may still be a chance of that happening, though. Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that the two sides will continue discussions about a deal that would put Bryant in a Browns uniform this season. Per Cabot, the visit was focused on Bryant and the Browns getting “acquainted and see if it was a fit” for both sides. The Browns will play the Bills in their second preseason game of the year on Friday night with Jarvis Landry, Antonio Callaway, Rashard Higgins and C.J. Board among the receivers on the depth chart. A. J. McCarron had his horse-collar bone broke from a hit from Miles Garrett of 'dem dawgs. QB situation in Buffalo is cloudy with a chance of meatballs.
Josh Gordon returns to the Browns... Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon is returning to the team after missing all of training camp and the start of the preseason. Gordon, the highly productive receiver with a long history of substance-abuse issues, said on Twitter today that he’s now ready to return. “I took the time needed to ensure my overall mental and physical health,” Gordon wrote on Twitter. “This has by no means been an easy road and I’m extremely grateful. . . . I realize in order for me to reach my full potential my primary focus must remain on my sobriety and mental well-being.” Browns General Manager John Dorsey released a statement commending Gordon for working hard and focusing on getting better. Dorsey added that Gordon “will initially participate in meetings and conditioning and will gradually resume all football activities as deemed appropriate.” There’s no word on when Gordon will be able to participate fully in football activities, but a return this weekend indicates he should be ready to play Week One. I've always held the belief this is not just Gordon stepping away for treatment ever since the NFL said they would comment at the appropriate time. What the hell is there to comment about if a guy just decides to get some help? My first thought was he slipped up and entered rehab immediately, thus making him unavailable for testing. Dorsey looks like an idiot making the statement he made only to find out it's the league's decision. He'd be better off saying nothing.
