But Callaway said the pot wasn't his. He said it was his brother's.

Oh, man. What an abundance of hashtags on a forum message board. So trendy, so hip. I am now, of course, inclined to take that twitter-er as an expert, and agree with their assessment. That's how that works, right?

Edit: for the record, if that's the actual, true reason that Hue had him in the game the way he did (and not BS, which is what Hue usually gives to the media), then the only suitable explanation would be that he felt that was the only discipline that would get through to Callaway, having gotten to know him. Otherwise, I agree that that's ridiculous.

A good teacher knows what does and doesn't work, and I know I treat punishment / correction for my students differently as needed. But I'm willing to bet that this is a case of Hue telling the media one nonsense and actually enforcing another. I just couldn't help but laugh at the twitter brigade.

I don't see how the players union isn't going to be all over Hue Jackson for his explanation of Antonio Callaway's "punishment".....He even mentioned how Antonio was gassed and asking out of the game, but the Browns staff told him he can't come out. Smh...

Tomlin punished Bell and Blount by making them play almost the whole preseason game they were on the way to when they got pulled over with refer burning in their car.

    The irony, tho...

Hue Jackson: "I won't let players practice all the time because I don't want them to get hurt or tired."

Also Hue Jackson: "This player who hasn't played competitive football in 20 months is going to play an entire football game and even when he pleads to come to the sidelines, I'm going to refuse to allow it."

I guess I didn't realize they were on their way to a game. I see now why you guys didn't want to give him $15 mil. a year.

    From 2017:

Greggggg Williams: "Let's sign three starting-caliber cornerbacks and draft another one with the No. 4 overall pick."

Also Greggggg Williams: "Over 70-percent of the time we're putting only two cornerbacks on the field."

Bell missed the team flight, and Blount probably used the flight to point the finger at Bell. Bell had to catch another flight and made it on time to the game. Tells you what the players think of preseason games. Getting stoned on the way to the airport.

Unless you can hide it and/or take it with you, smoking it on the spot is the route to go. Of course, you can nail down a “full zip” for about $150 (my price in a non-Rec State), so the loss is minimal if you had no options and needed to toss it out.

He loses weight every year. He had a special diet to gain weight when he played.

    @SAS

Flag on the play. Can't use the same image/GIF on the same page. 15 yards for lack of creativity/laziness of coming up with something new.

Ramsey and his boy Bouye were crying their eyes out when Ben was shredding them for 470 yards and 5 TDs in January. I didn’t see any other QBs doing that to them.

Spoiler ahead: that's my new default .gif whenever discussing "Clueless" Hue or Greggggg Williams. No exceptions.

Todd Haley is exempt. He is a gift and we should cherish him.

This is encouraging, but not unexpected.

I also saw where the Browns' Hard Knock premier was the second-highest rated/watched episode in the show's history. Not too shabby for an 0-16 team.

I am seeing a bunch of talk that the show is making the team look worse. I might have orange colored glasses on, but I am just not seeing that angle.

I am more excited about this team after watching the 2 episodes.

Also, all the talk of "Todd Haley is an asshole with an abrasive personality" just doesn't seem to be accurate by what I have seen. He does seem firm, but genuinely seems to care about whats going on and not just padding his resume.
