Amazing isn't it. Ravens and Steelers draft QBs, and suddenly their veteran, $20M+, QBs find a way to be in the best shape of their careers and seem extra focused........
At least Roethlisberger has reason to worry. So far Joe is safe, at least this season. Ben doesn’t really have to worry because of who he is, but Rudolph could have replaced Joe right now and improved your team. Don’t know what the Ravens were thinking when they selected Jackson over Rudolph.
I'm assuming the Ravens simply thought Jackson was a better long term prospect. A little earlier to be proclaiming Rudolph as the next big thing isn't it? Didn't you start praising Markus Wheaton this early also?
I don’t know how good Rudolph will be, but I’m sure he would start for the Ravens if he was on their team.
Now Ben is in concussion protocol during practice? WTF? Landry Jones won’t play Thursday either. Thank God, maybe Rudolph can start so we can see him play with and against better players.
I recall in HS football, the QB always had the red jersey on, why isn’t the $20M QB wearing one of those?
With the lack of a great offensive line for many years during Ben's tenure in Pittsburgh and the fragility of Aaron Rodgers, one could suppose that Rodgers would have been knocked out of the game completely, won no Super Bowls, or struggled to find those crappy receivers that Ben won a super bowl with had Pittsburgh drafted Rodgers instead of Big Ben.
Word on the street is that Ben was running a goal line drill and ran into Marcus Gilbert, who was blocking. So, he wasn't targeted by a defender. Kinda makes me worry about Ben's durability, though.
See why I said it was too earlier to anoint Rudolph? First throw of the game was a pick six. He got to play with some of your starters, annnnnnd flopped. Maybe take a step back on saying who would start on what teams. Especially when you're going off one preseason game. Unless you're going to put the same amount of weight behind one bad preseason game as well
