Well I said it's been 25 years of misery. If the last time they were actually good was 1994....I'm a year off too. The years they didn't exist still count....those years happened. There was still football....and I'm pretty sure all the fans in Cleveland were still miserable. Because....well, they're from Cleveland. 5-11 is a bad record. That makes them a bad team. At the end of things you are what your record says you are. Oh, so they were a good team too? Just had bad luck 16 times, I'm guessing? Yeah I'm sure if it was Belichick coaching instead you would have won...like 2 or 3 games.
It's tough to figure what they are going to do with Carlos Hyde if Nick Chubb wins the early downs. Hyde can catch out of the backfield but I can't see them taking that job from Duke Johnson. I'm guessing Hyde ends up as more of a spell back to Chubb by season end. I'm pumped up and ready to see these three in the preseason.
I'm reminded of when the Giants had a great rushing attack with Jacobs, Ward, and Bradshaw back when "running back committees" were all the rage. I honestly think Carlos Hyde can make a major impact. From an overall skill standpoint, he's not a major upgrade from Crowell, but I think for the scheme and offensive approach, he's much better suited for what the team is going to do. He's used to being the primary ball carrier from his time in San Francisco, so he should be up to the task. The Nick Chubb pick surprised me a bit, given Hyde's signing, but it was a good one nonetheless. If he's healthy, he's taking over for Hyde full-time in a season or two. Randy "Duke" Johnson is so good at the gadget plays and in the passing game that he'll always have a role. Honestly, with the influx of offensive weapons, the broader concern is finding enough touches for everyone.

Thank you dline. I appreciate that. And I appreciate the kind words from everyone. It's very strange, but somehow coming on here and posting about the tragic event that happened Sunday, really did make me feel better. It's still difficult for me to accept and wrap my mind around it, but I can't change what happened. All I can do is remember the good times and be thankful for those. Time will eventually take the hurt away. I guess this is just part of the healing process..
