The only reason that I don't think they believed Hernandez would be there is because he easily could have gone anywhere from pick 20 down. Braden makes more sense as a target because of his likelihood to be available. When you think about the Giants draft, the idea that they were able to get a huge talent at RB and then immediately get the guy to open holes for him throughout his career with the next pick, it's hard not to like what they did with their first two picks.
I agree. Most starters don't shadow the top guy completely. Haden did and I think Ward is more of an athlete than Haden was. My point was not to treat him like Gid is treating AB*. If the kid is good enough to be your #1 corner and if you typically have your 1 on the opposing 1, then don't treat him any differently because he is a rookie. If he can't do it, then maybe he shouldn't be the 1. **IF** he earns the 1, in this group, then I don't see a reason not to. Man, this is awkward. Also, this board (as well as others before it) has been a great place for BROWNS FANS optimism. This core group of strangers has been conversing for at least a decade (man we're old. Lym and Bluez older than most) on various forums together. We get along just fine without fans of other teams popping in to troll and espouse messaged of self gratification or refer to us as reproductive organs.

I'm not worried about Ward because I know he makes the defense better at least some. It's nothing like that dickhead Gilbert. I'm more worried about how long it will take this offense to work itself out. I'm still not sure we got the QB fixed so I'm hoping this run game is balls out.
hoping Baker changes your mind next year David...I think he is going to be put up there with Bernie and Sipe some day.
FUN FACT!! I have Odell Beckham Jr. (#6), ahead of Antonio Brown (#7), and Keenan Allen (#8), but they're all on the "just missed it" list.
I'd give up a second. With the buzz circulating around Beal and how many teams towards the tail end of the second, we might not be able to wait around until the third.
This ^^^^^ may explain why we rarely see the likes of Bluez, DvlDawg, BuckeyesRok, JunkyardDAWG, DavidHalton and Signalcaller anymore. Or why their (and my) participation has dwindled. Then there are the ones who never made it over here. BeancitiesBest, SirCheeks, and a host of others that I can't remember. Add in the ones who passed way too early, DGNR8 and Phantom and its just not that much fun to constantly argue and bicker over every fucking sylable.
I've always liked to read more than post because some of you guys point out Browns stuff I never see anywhere else. I read here just about everyday but I don't feel the need to post all the time. I spend time on a couple other message boards and they are so much worse than this place when it comes to arguing and trolling.
You're more of a Marino/Manning kinda guy? I respect that. Brady/Montana/Manning/Marino... question is... which one is Baker kicking off the QB Mount Rushmore?
I'm open minded on him but he wasn't what I thought they would do. Maybe that's for the best but I just wish that they would draft the guy I want once so I can just say they did.
He would first need to prove he doesn't belong on a mountain of manure with Tim Couch, Brady Quinn, Brandon Weeden, and Johnny Manziel.
That's a good discussion right there. Mine: Peyton Manning, Steve Young, Brett Favre, and Otto Graham *Always maintained Young was the better QB than Montana **Tom Brady is disqualified for the years of rampant rule bending/breaking from his franchise, which is a shame because he would have been an all-time great regardless
