He's the football equivalent of BFRLA, with his head shoved so far up his own ass and completely unwilling / incapable of meaningful / constructive dialogue.
We're cautiously optimistic about a second year QB that did very little under a lame-duck HC, and was not the first choice for many of us. We want him to be great, and a lot of us think he can be, especially with the new staff, but we're going to wait to anoint him until he does something worthy (crazy concept, I know). "Looking for information"?... Dude, they're not playing football right now. What information are you going to get? The same stuff that gets thrown around on here - random tweets about how great someone thinks a player is going to be?... I'll pass. The coaching staff will help immensely. The weapons are better, but still not notably good. Pace has been ripped a new asshole, accordingly. Did we do it? Did we talk about the things? So, "I just can't get off this point (regarding Chicago)" turns into a several-paragraph post about a player who hasn't played football in years. Look, man, I get it - there are some really exuberant, over-enthusiastic people in here, and that's cool. You should just expect other people to react differently, and they often do. Bring your exuberance, but expect others to bring a dose of reality or objectivity. It's what makes discussion worthwhile. For the record, as I've said many times - I'm glad Browns fans are excited.
I'm hoping that the start of the season / training camps will stimulate some good discussion. In the meantime, suggestions on how to improve things are welcome.
Yes, I do. Don't let the door hit you in your condescending ass and take your trashy friends with you.
I think the Bears fans can see that the Browns have had a huge roster overhaul, and with that come higher expectations. These guys seem determined to try and keep the Browns fans in their place and not let any sense of optimism leak out. lol! Like I said a few weeks back, the Bears are one of the few teams with even longer SB odds than the Browns. lol! So I think it's funny... Seems like maybe these guys are worried that the whole world will know soon enough that the Browns are a much better football team than the Bears. It's a difficult concept for them to accept (understandably), but one they should start getting used to...
We don't have Kool-Aid around here. None of us Browns fans can figure out how to get two quarts of water into that little pouch. Pretty much the reason why we stick to beer and liquor.
I haven't seen a whole lot of Ward and what I saw was 4 months ago. Does he have any experience in the slot? Because if he doesn't have any meaningful experience inside there's no chance they have him shadow Ward. Even if he does I find it unlikely.
There isn’t one QB in the league that can shut down Brown . But a rookie who may still not even pan out in the NFL is a guarantee in their book. You Browns fans should be looking for a victory before you start talking like SB champions.
