I played football in college...I could have taken bird courses if I chose to. But I went to a good school and I knew there was life after football because I wasn’t anywhere near good enough to play past college....so I took real courses that could help me later in life.

I prefer to take a witness' testimony to what happened. Knowing first hand it's not always right, but it sure is better than someone thousands of years later telling me what really happened. lmao

And there is no witness testimonies of biblical events. The Bible was written a long time after the events took place. And the church itself recognizes many of the stories as being allegorical rather than documentation of actual events.

It’s up for debate if either of them were actual historical figures or simply made up. Some historians believe Plato made up Socrates. Or based him on someone he knew.
