going old school with back to back questions - in the original Terminator - when Sarah Connor is a waitress, she comes to a table with barley beef, but no one at the table ordered it. a kid puts a food item in her apron and the guy at the table says "you should get the tip kid." what food does the kid put in her apron ? in the rock fable Streets of Fire with a pre-Outsiders Diane Lane and a pre-Ghostbusters Rick Moranis, what is the name of Ellen Aim's band ?
in the classic western SHANE - what is the name of the store in town where the final gun battle is ? every scene in the town always shows this building. the town only has 3 buildings. bonus - what are the finals 2 words in the movie SHANE ? Contrary to popular belief, it's not "SHANE COME BACK!" That's 3 words. lol.
I think....Bye Shane are the last words? I don't know the store though. I also can't stand that movie, lol.
Correct. Wow. For a movie you didn't like, you got the last line. Store is Grafton's. The other killer in the movie who quits Ryker - "Chris" is a future Oscar winner - Ben Johnson. Jack Wilson, is played by future Oscar winner Jack Palance. The little boy in the movie-Brandon de Wilde died at 30 yrs of age from a car accident. He won a special award for being on a stage play over 450 times before he was 10 yrs old. he made the cover of Life Magazine twice. One was for this achievement. No love for Shane? Why not ?
I think it's the kid...he's a whiny little brat. Lol, I don't know. Just never cared for it, thought the book sucked too. I think it's mainly because I was always more drawn to the grittier western movies rather than the more family friendly ones.
your gritty. haha. yeah the kid is annoying. i have the book as well. it's tiny. like 120 pages. im sure the kid isn't as whiny. haha. Shane could've been very gritty if they explain his true back story as a killer. they barely mention it. it's soft. fluffy even. i don't know how it's considered one of the best westerns ever. it's not gritty enough to be Shane this murky figure and then side with the ranchers vs the cattle barons and gun slingers.
One of my favorite westerns from when I was little though is The Fastest Gun Alive. Glenn Ford is awesome in it. But so is Broderick Crawford. Crawford has one particular line in the movie that stands out to me....and it's because he says the same line in a movie he did just a few year before...Born Yesterday. Do you know the line?
i know in Smokey and the Bandit when the little State Trooper goes to question Jackie Gleason for driving on the shoulder he says "i don't care if you name is Broderick Crawford." haha.
bears - what was the line ?? in the movie Gladiator - what was the name of the game Joaquin Phoenix tells his nephew it's too late to be playing when he sees him sword fighting with 2 guards? it's not gladiator either. phoenix says something like "are you Mark Antony." The kid says "I'm Maximus, the savior of Rome!"
No bright lights No food after midnight And don't get them wet And before they are Gremlins...they're Mogwais
