He is dense, however, in stopper language, I think he is simply agreeing with you here...

Lesson learned... Thanks ID... Feel odd calling you Irish, since that was my Grand Mothers nick name. Most didn't know her real name.

I answer to most names, doesn't matter if there is animosity attached to them or not...I'm stubborn like that.

    Interesting.

Brett Hundley has a 100% winning percentage against the Browns, averages 265 yards per game (versus 228 for Flacco). Has a 7.0 TD percentage (versus 4.5 for Flacco), a 0.0 INT percentage (versus 2.0 for Flacco). Has a 111.2 QB rating (versus 90.5 for Flacco).

Brett Hundley > Joe Flacco ?

Well, yes. But also it could just be that for the past 19 years, the Browns have been bad at football.

  9. Correct

  10. That’s awesome SAS let’s take a game sample over almost 20...great idea smh

Does it matter if it's one game or 20? In 19 seasons, the Browns have been equally bad. They sneaked out some wins in 2002 and 2007, but those teams weren't necessarily good.

I think his point is just that...

Did I miss the part where the Browns played the ratbirds 19 times next season already?

Stopper, you have rallied against this team for as long as I can remember (maybe even back on cbs), and I know this next sentence is going to sound odd because you don't understand logic, but you cannot *LOGICALLY* continually rally on how bad this team is and has been THEN use stats of the same very bad team to point out Joe Flacco's greatness all while being the "stats mean dick" guy.

Jesus, I mean...someone had to have just killed a kitten somewhere because I had to write that.

  13. Big Ben has a similar record in a few more games...whats the point....Flacco is a very good QB that you guys dont think is good but he beats the Browns at will...what happens if he does the same this year....we have heard over the last few yrs the Browns have improved now they have been bad over the last 19 yrs

  14. You and SAS have no brains....I said stats mean di^k when you lose every game or almost every game...for example SAS kept showing us stats the McCourty was a top 5 CB at different points of the season, Bitonio graded out top 10 at the guard position, Garrett was this or that but they kept losing every week therefore stats mean d#ck when you keep losing...whats so hard to understand...Flacco is a bad QB according to many in this group but he keeps winning so how bad can he be...give me a bad QB that goes 17-2 over 19 games any day of the week over the BS stats SAS kept showing us from FFP or whatever site he uses...pretty simple

Here’s the Browns 4 victories this season.

    Ravens @ Cleveland
    Bengals @ Cincinnati
    Panthers
    Buccaneers

  16. Damn thats a free win for Cincy lol

You cant discount an individual performance just because a team loses. Thomas is a first ballot HOF, and an all time great at LT. That's not invalid because he was on a bad team. Bad teams have great players and or good performances. Stats are a measurement, a way to compare players to each other no matter how subjective they may be, it still paints a picture not matter how subjective they may be.

  18. He was a non factor...he doesnt score TDs or make impact plays on defense....should have taken Peterson

If OTAs are any indication Matakevich will be a starting ILB. Bostic will have to battle with Vince Williams. That would be a welcome development from this Steelers fan. Burnett's role is probably temporary depending on how quickly Edmunds is ready to play. Nice bridge player to have because he's probably not a 16 game starter at this point in his career anyway. He's also a great communicator.

Mitchell is not a loss. Hubbard is a depth loss but the Steelers drafted his replacement. Chukwuma Okorafor is a stud.

Then you're not keeping up to date on Steelers football. Edmunds is expected to win a nickel DB role from Day 1. They want him on the field. Budda Baker's contributions in Year 1 are a good comp although I think they'd like Edmunds to contribute day one. Budda got going mid-season. Absence an injury James Washington is already our number 3 wide receiver. Tomlin is raving about his conditioning (grew up a farmer). Already mentioned Okorafor.

The Steelers aren't the Steelers from old where every rookie gets a redshirt year. They expect contributions from day one and they've gotten it from guys like Watt, JuJu, Burns, Davis, Hargrave, Dupree, Tuitt, M. Bryant, Shazier. It's illogical to expect the Browns to get contributions from rookies and then say you don't know of ANY that will impact the Steelers - especially considering the impact they've gotten over the last several years.

Add Mike Hilton, B.J. Finney, Matt Feiler and Vance McDonald to this list. Hilton is an amazing find, McDonald will be our #1 TE now that he's figured everything out. Feiler and Finney are good solid depth o-linemen when the inevitable injuries come.

Way to early to make that assessment. Sucks pretty bad losing Shazier but what gets lost in his obvious physical ability was the impact of losing his communication skills (and in the same game his backup communicator Matakevich). Vince Williams was lost trying to diagnose and communicate to the other 10 guys on the field. The severe drop off from a defense playing pretty damn well with Ryan in the game can be mitigated somewhat by better communication.

And that doesn't even factor in the shift in philosphy that will be employed that puts guys like Burnett and Edmunds on the field in his previous role. Burnett played a very similar role as Shazier in Green Bay. Word around OTAs is they are even experimenting with 7-man DB packages in obvious passing situations. They can't replace Shazier's overall ability but they can replace some of the things he brought to the field.

p.s. Didn't quote it but your assessment of JuJu in a previous post is way off. I like Jarvis Landry but he doesn't possess Juju's skillset or ceiling.

Peterson's a bum, he didn't win a Super Bowl. That and he drew blood on his own kid so he's a POS. That "cultural difference" argument doesn't fly, you can discipline your kid without leaving scars. Id rather have Mike Vick on my team.
