Saw a report that the Browns are in the bidding for one of the supplementary draft DBs...I was scrolling quickly and forget which one. I wanna say its the kid from MSU. Word was that they would be submitting a high pick for him. That's fine and dandy, but there are only so many spots on the team in the defensive backfield...someone's not gonna make the team. I like it.
You can never have too many good dbs. If they have to get rid of one, I'm sure they won't have a problem with finding a trade partner. Which btw may help the Oline. JMHO

Ok they added Taylor is he better than Ben or Flacco? Same as Dalton? They added Landry is he better than Brown, Green or Crabtree? They added Hyde is he better than Bell or Mixon? They added DBs that I’m not even sure will start/make team...that’s what I mean by getting better...mayb Taylor is better than Kizer but mayb that doesn’t equate to wins cause he may b the worst QB in the division...like you said nobody knows but I just can’t believe fans would even use the P word when this team was 1-31 in last 2 yrs...now if they added Rodgers, Julio, Watt and Ramsey in the off season now I can see the excitement

He is coming off a decent rookie season...AND an arrest in January...I know you like your bad boys.. Ramsey was the best CB in his class taken 5th overall, Ward the same taken 4th overall. Julio: Josh Gordon, pre-trouble, was the best WR in the entire NFL in 2014 (even only playing 14 games). He became the only player to have back to back 200 yard outputs at WR. If trouble free, he is the undisputed #1 WR on the Browns, like Julio is. Juju, is a complementary receiver taken at the END of the 2nd round, 6th WR in his class. No one will ever mistake him as the #1 receiver on the Steelers until Brown leaves...He doesn't even hold up to Cleveland's #2 receiver in Jarvis Landry. Watt: Myles Garrett was the CONSENSUS #1 overall draft pick. He was chosen at that spot because everyone believes he has the ability to match what JJ Watt has done over his career. Tuitt is expected to be a good player, don't take this the wrong way, but he was taken #46 overall in the 2014 draft. He's entering his 5th year and has declined each of his last two years in sacks and tackles. We are talking players on their upside, not sliding. This is the worst team in the AFC North and the top team in the AFC North in 2017. We haven't even discussed DECLINING aspects of the teams, due to aging players on each roster. We are only talking gains based on youth.
In reality, the AFC North roster discussion is a worthwhile one in late June/early July when there really isn't anything else to discuss... Stopper is just ignorant to the subject, on par with most of his posts..
I'm digging the breakdowns. Two things - Would you agree that the Browns had the largest gap to cover? The hit percentage for first round picks since 2012 is roughly 45% (and interestingly, it's near identical when shrunk to just the top 10) so draft positioning as a reference is 'eye-of-the-beholder'.
Edmunds will be the top safety in the AFCN by next season Washington is another WR similar to Antonio Brown Rudolph was the best QB in the draft. Just ask Tim. Mitchell was a big problem with our poor communication in the secondary. That is why the Steelers cut him.
