Where Do We Go From Here?

Discussion in 'Cleveland Browns' started by TopDawg, Oct 2, 2017.

  1. So 2 WRs makes a team better? If that’s the case Pitt should NEVER lose to NE

  2. How much did it move last year after the Browns went 4-0 in the preseason and the whole city was buying Preseason champs shirts smh

You can shake your head, all you want dipshit...Nobody thought the Browns were gonna be good last year. Were we hopeful? Yes...Did we think LV would move lines? No...Just STHU.

    Mmmkay thanks d-line...

How about a quick history lesson that doesn't bode well for your football knowledge at all. You don't get much respect from me for a reason... A few years back, I represented your Chicago Bears in a mock draft. My first two picks were Timmy Jernigan and LaMarcus Joyner. You immediately jumped into the thread so you could turn me on blast for how stupid I was for making those selections. According to you, and your long winded post, I had no clue what I was doing and clearly took players that couldn't possibly succeed in the NFL...lol! So piss off. Nobody is making any guarantees. Cleveland fans haven't had reason to be this excited in 30 years....

Why can't Browns fans be optimistic? Because you and others want to keep us in our place? I don't think so...

The point was Taylor will have better talent to throw to than he had with the Bills last season and yes that alone makes the Browns better than the Bills. The number three WR for the Browns this season will be Corey Coleman who you can argue was better than anything he had in Buffalo last year outside of Kelvin Benjamin who he only got for 6 games last season. He will have Carlos Hyde this year who based on age is probably going to be better than McCoy. His 3rd down back this year will be Duke Johnson who as a receiver out of the backfield is better than McCoy was for the Bills last year. SAS already showed you what the Bills rushing looked like with and without Taylor. The Browns last year averaged 4.5 yards per rush compared tot he Bills 4.1 so in an area where the Browns were already better than the Bills they now add Taylor who made the Bills stronger in the run logic dictates he will make the Browns stronger there as well. So no it is more than just 2 wrs making Taylor in a better situation with the Browns than he had with the Bills but the argument really didnt need to go an farther than Gordon/Landry vs Benjamin/Jones.

I don't know who you are.

I said Browns fans should be excited. I don't think you can read.

I would add more substance to this, because I'm honestly not intending to be snarky - but my previous post(s) pretty much spell it out. I don't think you understood them.

I buy too many tires for my hemi challenger because of these assholes with their Toyota’s, Subarus, mustangs, Camaros, hondas, not to mention those crappy Korean cars. When will they learn they can’t beat me to the next red light?

  8. Kizer had plenty of good games w his feet(419 yds)...Taylor(427 yds)

  9. Jeanquev Legend Steelers

and what does this have to do with Taylor being in better shape with the Browns than the Bills?

  10. Part of the discussion was the Browns run game...Kizer played a role in avg 4.5 ypc

And now it will be even better with Taylor unless you are going to try and convince me that Taylor is not an upgrade to Kizer

  12. Very similar hence the 419 vs 427 already written

Just the same, I told ya then I wouldn't forget, and that when you were proven wrong I was gonna call you out on it...So there ya go. Gotta admit, Joyner and Jernigan have been very good, and you were wrong....Ahhhh. That felt good.

I just figured if you were gonna give me some lame "football 101" lecture about "talent vs potential talent" over here on the Browns boards, that would be a perfect time for me to light you up...

    Oh, okay. You got me?

I never claimed to not be wrong about evaluating prospects. Of course, that doesn't bode well for you guys, because the time I've spent thinking Mayfield was a top QB candidate is measured in years, not months. So for your sake, better hope I'm not wrong now.

The point was that "potential" hasn't won you guys any fucking games. I don't know why in the motherfuck you're coming at me, bud, but you sure as fuck haven't done anything to address that point. So we'll just assume you understand and agree with it. I will also still otherwise assume that you don't know how to read, given that you didn't address any of that - the stuff that was actually relevant to the conversation.

  15. I wonder why they have been very good

Your points are problematic because you continually splinter them...The only similarity between Tyrod and DeShone is their yardage totals...The truth lies in their efficiency. I think both would improve with the roster improvements the Browns made this off season, however, Tyrod is a better QB at this stage of their careers based on 62.6 to 53.6 Comp %, ave. 16TD to 11, ave. 5 INT to 22, QB rating of 89.2 compared to 60.5.

The Browns didn't JUST improve their run game with Taylor, they improved several offensive categories.

  17. I sure hope Tyrod is a little better at this stage...he’s been around 5-6 yrs more in the NFL...I think when Kizer is in his 5th year he will be the better QB

I agree 100%, but year 1 vs year 5 Tyrod was MUCH MUCH better. In 2018, Tyrod is another year wiser and DeShone is relegated to being a backup. I'm not sure what 2018 vs 2022 has to do with a current evaluation. I will GUARANTEE you Tyrod Taylor will not be the starting QB of the Browns in 2022.

If Kizer makes it to year 5 in the NFL.
