Where Do We Go From Here?

  1. Wow what is wrong w the NFL if that guy was invited to the Pro Bowl...10 QBs must have turned it down or been hurt

  2. Look for Mart Bryant to be suspended soon

Jameis Winston's only Pro Bowl appearance was because Tom Brady declined (like he always does) to play.

He's a Raider. I doubt the Steelers folks care about that now.

    Cody who?

John Dorsey did the improbable and took this guy:

I'm not missing a single one of the QBs we've had since 1999.

^^^^^ If you thought my man-crush on Brady Quinn was bad, just wait.

I'm getting a Baker tattoo on my left buttcheck.

(Can't do the right side. Ran out of room. It looks like "The Jersey".)

The problem with the Browns is that they haven’t had a really good QB since Frank Ryan. That was before I was born.

Football just isn't a sport that's conducive for an All Star game....It's too physical, and nobody wants to get hurt in a meaningless game.

Greggggggggg Williams is/was an abject failure.

#2 team in the NFL in time it takes to get to opposing quarterbacks (speaks to the talent, no?).

    #32 team in total pressures.

Which means the coverage on the back end was so soft (or off) that quarterbacks routinely took less than 2.33 seconds to determine where they were going with the football and making it happen. (FWIW, the NFL average - per Next Gen Stats - time to throw was 2.70s.)

Pretty easy to do, really, when your corners are 6-8 yards off at all times and your free safety is lined up in the Muni Lot.

    2.27s LAC: 5th in sacks
    2.33s CLE: 22nd in sacks
    2.33s PIT: 1st in sacks

Wait, how do they possibly calculate "Time to QB" if they're also saying that Cleveland can't pressure or sack the QB? Don't you have to actually get to the QB to do those things? If they're saying that the players have arrived after the ball is out... that would insinuate that the players are still moving to the QB at top speed and making some contact after the ball is out, but that they weren't initially close enough to register as a "pressure". It just doesn't add up.

I'm going to amend the above post: I read quickly at the office, and conflated multiple ideas. There's still a jump between the analysis of those numbers and the numbers themselves. I'll get back to that when I have a minute to do more than glance.
