skinny-didn't you talk about this guy ? he was 30 yrs old and living at home but didn't pay rent so his parents sued him ? well his parents won, he lost, he has to move out. the kicker - he wants to live in a shelter so he can be rent free for life.

I posted this on the jokes thread, but here it is again. I heard this joke this week...

The National Poetry Contest had come down to two, a Yale graduate and a redneck from Texas. They were given a word, then allowed two minutes to study the word and come up with a poem that contained the word. The word they were given was Timbuktu.

First to recite his poem was the Yale graduate. He stepped to the microphone and said:

Slowly across the desert sand
Trekked a lonely caravan;
Men on camels, two by two
Destination Timbuktu.

The crowd went crazy! No way could the redneck top that, they thought. The redneck calmly made his way to the microphone and recited:

Me and Tim a hunting we went.
Met three whores in a pop up tent.
They was three, and we was two,
So I bucked one, and Timbuktu.

The redneck won hands down!

the joke is funnier in person. my brother told it this weekend for his daughter's HS graduation party to me and 10 other guests. haha.

skinny-I sent that NHL 1977 AS Dinner menu off to PSA/DNA to be authenticated. It was 19 signatures on it. The key one is Fred "Cyclone" Taylor among others. Many who signed the menu are deceased. It's an one of a kind item! Once I get it back, I'll post some pix of it on here for you and others to see.

I had Thai last week (Monday nite) at Thai Rock in Rockaway Beach. It was their 7th year anniversary. Food was great, live jazz band, the manager visits all of the patrons' tables. Excellent drinks too.
