I’m expecting to see a steel cage “death match” ultimatum here (maybe this year - maybe next?), where Mayfield wins more than 18 of his first 45 games and Winston will not be allowed to be mentioned on the Browns boards anymore. But the caveat (moving the goalpost) will probably be ... well, Winston stepped in as a starter right away and Mayfield had to ride the pine blah blah blah. I see it very clearly. Too bad Charlie Ward chose the NBA... oh, what could’ve been.
For comparison's sake, neither had any of the others. You don't understand basic prospecting. There isn't a draft pick in the history of the NFL that played in the NFL before they were drafted. I am not going to make a snide comment about your intellect any more, you do that all on your own way too often.
Ok let’s beat out Tyrod “stiff” Taylor before we start lumping Mayfield into the Luck, Winston, Wentz etc company
FUN FACT: Even though stopper faces ^^^ this dilemma everyday of his life, he's never once pushed the button on the right....
You should of gone to the Celts/Cavs thread bitches. While you are arguing over what is probably a medicore at best QB. The Greatest player in any sport to come out of Ohio was making Boston fans his whore. We will pay for more daddy. What's the kids name you drafted? Yeah not Leborn and this is why he's gone. You care more about the next Doug Flutie then the greatest player in the game. Let me ask you all something. You think we cared about Tony Eason while Larry Bird was playing?
Winston is better then Mayfield. Winston is underrated but he's an asshole so I'm done with him. I'll make a site bet with any of you Browns fans. Rosen is better in the first year then Mayfield. And if you want to go long term and give yearly collateral until you Roberto Duran it. It's on?
After a lot of thought, I have come to the conclusion that Baker Mayfield should be the starter for week 1. He's the #1 overall pick in the draft! As such, its a forgone conclusion he has the talent. If he's going to struggle, we need to find out now so we can work on extending Tyrod's contract. If he's still struggling at the bye week, then shitcan Hue Jackson as he is clearly a bum and has no business being an NFL Head Coach.
We love our Cavs, we go to the games, we watch in parties during the playoffs, we show up in millions for the parade. We love LeBron James, probably moreso for his charitable contributions to the Greater Cleveland area, specifically Akron where he grew up. He's one of us, not an Indiana hot shot that went to Boston to become one of the best ever. LeBron isn't the greatest player in the game, as this makes it sound like you mean "today's game"...James is the GOAT. All respect to Michael Jordan, I enjoyed watching him when he wasn't destroying the Cavs hopes and dreams. We care asshole, but make no mistake, this is a football town. It always has been and it always will be. The NBA with it's speculative rules and shitty referees is more like a version of the WWF or WWE. It is controlled by whatever flavor of the year they want. It isn't real basketball. This is one case where there is absolutely no arguing, the college game is a better product than the NBA. You take 6-8 Players that control the entire league, throw in the next best 8 players and divide them among 3 teams that dominate every aspect and just sit back and wait for the finals...until one of them retires. Hell, even the Warriors went out and signed ANOTHER of the top 4 players because they weren't dominating enough by setting a record for most wins in a season..Why? Because they have a salary cap...BUT, if you want to violate it, go ahead, we won't "fine" you or make you comply...we'll just have you pay a "luxury tax"..That's not a cap you morons. So don't tell me where our allegiances need to lie, we are fans through and through. We stay glued to the TV to watch the post game celebrations, but to go to a thread and listen to "fans" like you talk the talk, well it doesn't in any way shape or form amuse me. I was busy WATCHING the game with two rooms filled with other Cavs fans cheering them on. Do you want me to come on here after the fact and rub it in your face? OK, let's start with Larry Bird is one of the best of all time...although somewhere down in the 6-10 range, not #1 Greatest Of All Time, like LeBron James is. Oh, and your Celtics just got beat by a mediocre team with ONE stud (albeit the GOAT) that destroyed your season. There, is that what you wanted?
He’s not an A-hole...he is great w the kids and is a true leader of men...he may have done some petty little things at FSU and was charged w major allegations but cleared of all counts...once TB gets a real GM he will take that team to the playoffs and beyond
LB isn’t even close to MJ...3-8 finals record and playing in the weakest conference in the last 15-20 yrs...who is the 2nd best player in the East?
Why ya gotta be that way SPress? lol! Bostonian comes on to a football thread to tell us we should have been on a basketball thread, discussing how James owns them.....That's hilarious. Between the epic Indians game Sunday, and the amazing accomplishments of Lebron James, it was an embarrassment of riches for Cleveland fans yesterday. The fact that we still talk football year around, should tell ya something about how passionate we are when it comes to that sport. But thanks anyway for the astute observation. Yes. Boston is our bitch on the hardwood. Thanks for noticing....Don't worry bout Bron Bron. He gets plenty of love from the Ohio fans. Nice try pissing on our parade....FTR; I always thought y'all liked Grogan over Eason.
Also FTR, just in case it wasn't obvious, stopper is an idiot, and in no way representative of Cleveland fans.
lol! Yeah, by 1955 standards, Winston is great with kids....He tells little boys to flex their muscles, and they gotta grow up and be strong and aggressive and go for what ya want in life. And he tells little girls its important to smile and be pretty, and quiet....What's not to like about that?
