All I know, is that I just drafted my Browns dream draft in the GMO draft..If it can't happen for the Browns (FU Giants), at least the Rabid Dawgs will be in good hands in the future.
That's tough water for you to tread though, because you have to have an available pick represented for every trade or else they automatically kick higher. If you end up giving up your second to two different people it becomes a second and a first, regardless of if one of the trades never had any conditions on it. Basically, you can't risk capital that you can't guarantee unless you are willing to give up higher picks in the even you come up on the short end of the stick.
I knew this was coming since he told me, hence why he traded 2.1 instead of waiting for 2.4. I love this especially since he owns Ben. Get him while he can.
Tim If I traded 2.9-2.12 to someone else it wouldn't go to StlCrtn to begin with since he'd be awarded my 1st anyways.
I get that, but what I'm saying is that you need to be sure that your conditions don't leave an opening that creates two people claiming the same pick. You would have to give up a higher pick, no exceptions.
Totally understood and accounted for. I'll be careful. I'm gonna give him my 11th as a placeholder later too.
Sounds good, and we'll make sure to include in on the draft thread at the end of round 2 so that it has a permanent reference.
Funny, you were always talking about doing conditional trades and I wasn't certain I ever would but here we are.
