I saw a really interesting documentary on this group of guys who basically started fantasy baseball. They had to track stats out of a newspaper. The guy who invented the league and the idea hadn't won a championship ever. I think it was the city of New York, eventually gave them a key to the city for inventing such a phenomenon many years later. None of them ever got wealthy from it. They were doing it for fun, just thinking they were a bunch of nerds. Pretty funny stuff.
Think I've seen that somewhere. There may of been a 30 on 30 on it at one point. My first 2 or 3 years I tracked everything out of the newspaper.
I always thought Fantasy football came before baseball...I used to track football stats out of the USA Today when I started back in 1990. what was the name, sounds like a worthwhile watch
They may have as well. But I don't think this one was a 30 for 30. I've seen many of those. Might be the best series going right now. Most of them are excellent, even covering sports I don't watch. (The Two Escobars) For my money the best one so far was the one covering the SMU football scandal. That was amazing. I've seen it at least twice, probably 3 times.
Ya he got my text and responded a few minutes before he showed here. Glad to know the number is the same. lol
