pgh - you brought up a big controversy of what people put on a hot dog. some fans say mustard. some say ketchup. some say both. the mustard people think ketchup is evil and has no business on a hot dog or vice versa. some like onions and relish. boiled, grilled, smoked? I like how 5 Guys does there's and cuts it open and then grills it.

Not long ago my wife and I went to a nice steakhouse with a coworker and her husband. The coworker orders her steak well done ( Ok I'm being a snob but if youre going to order your steak well done don't waste your money on a good cut, just get the sirloin) and then she asks the waiter for ketchup.

 

oh, and beef hot dogs for me

 

pgh - people don't feel that way and just put whatever the fuck they want on it. jeez man. to many it's one thing or another but don't cross them. much like a steak and any sauce on it is taboo among steak or meat eaters. you just don't do it. people today are mixing all kinds of foods and or condiments that just don't mix on foods.

-I've seen ranch dressing on pizza and almost puked at the sight of it.

-mayo on a cheesesteak.

-spinach on pizza

-deep fried doughnuts.

-burgers using doughnuts as the buns

it goes on and on.

 

Deep fried donuts aren't weird, but baked are better.

 

I like deep fried style doughnuts out of an air-fryer.

 

harder crust and no oil.
