If healthy I'd probably have Wentz closer to where Wilson is and Wilson down just a tad. I think the top 8, so plus Wentz, minus Smith, are above the rest for now.

Interesting where you have Cousins and Dalton. I understand all the knocks on Dalton but damn that sure is low.

Dalton's successor gets drafted in 2019, then beats him out for the starting job in the pre-season.

Limited sample size that looks positive and from how the Air portion of the Air and Ground award winner and about 50% chance to be MVP if he didn't get hurt, I'd think it's not too homerish. And actually I wouldn't have Wilson lower than 6. He's at 4 and Mr Homer target and Big Ben would be above for me right now. Matt Ryan I'd have below Rivers.

Cousins just got paid big time guaranteed money to a team with a solid ground game and a stout defense.

The Minnesota winters will have him drinking significantly more, and the cash he has will make sure that it's the good stuff.

    Sound argument.

It's getting to that point, and after this year Andy has no dead cap left on his contract (3 years remaining). Unless something happens this year the successor is likely drafted next year, 2 years at worst. As for beating him out, well that is real crystal bally since we have no clue who the hell it could be really.

I'll take it a step farther...

The Bengals win 4 games this season and draft in the top 5.

    Their pick?

The third quarterback off the board -

    Jarrett Stidham, Auburn

Ranking, What? Yards, TDs, QBR? This is a pretty mundane list if there is no criteria of which to argue your point. I could put any random list together based on, well, nothing...

I've got them at 6 but more likely to get to 4 than 8. I think that they at least seriously think about trading up for a QB. This is the season that will decide Lewis' future for real. Can Lewis save his job? Can Andy show it's his job, is the OLine talent developed and ready and is the run game actually good? Can't the defense be disciplined at all and good enough to let the offense have a chance?

So many questions. Too many maybe. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they got their shit together and made the playoffs in the AFC but I wouldn't count on it. It may be better if they just tank.

It's my personal opinion of what I believe the order is according to talent relative to what I expect from each quarterback this season.

There is no point to argue but we can discuss any part of the list you disagree with.

You're more than welcome to put together your own list.

    The more opinions the better.

This is almost exactly what they feel like to me. I had them at 5, then shaved a win because it just feels like Cincy is on the verge of having all of their bullshit collapse on them at once.

    This would be the season.

Cincy is in too much of a shit situation to be rewarded with a high pick. Look at the Bills' 21st century purgatory.

Do you think the Bills put themselves into a similar situation as Cincy by attaching the cart to the wrong horse?

That would be prior to the most recent changes at head coach and his subsequent moves, of course.

The Bills made the right moves in management/coaching IMO. I'm not a fan of Josh Allen but I respect the move and they really saved their outlook by not trading the extra 1st when Chubb fell to the Broncos. McCarron needs to grab that job by the balls this offseason so Allen doesn't get rushed. Allen needs a full year along with the subsequent offseason before he gets out there and does damage to his confidence and development like what happened with Peterman. Also I don't think Dalton was a mistake. He was fine but has been getting worse and his coach and GM ruined the Bengals and no shits were given.

Do you see Trubisky's lack of success due to the talent of the player, the inexperience of the player, or the team around him?

I think it's the last 2. The Bears are one team nobody is really talking about. They could explode (in a good way) in the next season or two once the chemistry and experience are there.
