I wouldn't call this HOLLYWOOD as the thread title suggests, but it is related. Apparently, Matt Patricia was involved in a sexual assault incident during his college days. According to official records, Patricia and a friend broke into some female student's room and took turns sexually assaulting her. The case was in progress and the prosecution had 5 witnesses, but the victim dropped the case due to stress. Charges were dropped. End of story. <cloak of invisibility>//www.yahoo.com/sports/sexual-assault-case-lions-coach-matt-patricia-reportedly-least-5-prosecution-witnesses-193501924.html ^^^THIS IS NOT A LINK^^^ ... but it is a portal to KNOWLEDGE I was sort of surprised this didn't make it to the NFL News page. Anyway, very recently I was having a "metoo" discussion with another poster here and he was saying he couldn't understand why women don't fight back. I dropped out of the conversation due to MY lack of understanding that person's perspective. I heard what he was saying, I just vehemently disagreed. Well, here is just ONE of the many reasons people do not report assault, sexual or otherwise.

What does Google think about it? Its actually for them, not you. Sorry you have to tolerate it. As mentioned, I have taken serious measures to greatly reduce its usage. Updates to follow.
Tim ? I've been meaning to ask this question for a while. So I'll do it now. If this only applies to the political forum, that's fine. But.... What's the reason for it ?? Does Google have a problem with their content being used elsewhere ?? Or do you guys NOT want a thread full of mindless "cut/copy/paste" stuff ?? Not trying to be an A**hole here...... Just wondering.
It was also an emphasis at the attempt of following the new rules. I just gussied it up a bit. Lipstick/pig. It really is easier just to use the old linking system. But since that is off the table...
The main advertisers that we work with will pull their ads if we are flagged for malicious or inappropriate material. The only time this occurs is through urls placed on this forum that link directly to websites that have been red listed for content. For most of this forum this is not an issue simply because the vast majority of sport sites do not contain questionable material. The political section is a different animal where previously links were posted from sites that do not screen their own content. There have been several urls deleted from that section (well over a hundred) after their removal was requested by our advertisers. After one specific web address put this site in a situation where advertisers were immediately discontinuing their agreement with us, I adopted the policy of no out linking urls being posted in that forum. Being that it is specifically in the ToS that members are responsible for their own posts (including all links, images and media) the only other alternative would have been to issue warnings for content and to ban members for not following the rules that they agreed to when signing up.
It wouldn't be off the table if we weren't flagged for pornographic material from a link that you posted.
You posted a link with instructions on how to fellate yourself. I had an email in my inbox within minutes of you posting it which only happens when immediate action is required. If I had been out of town for the day and it had gone 24 hours without me acknowledging their request for removal we would have been immediately suspended. There are different categories of infractions. This is the type that could have had us permanently banned by many, many advertisers.
