LOL ... Challenges are being tossed left and right (okay, maybe there's only been the one but still ... ) and people are staring to sharpen their picking skills in preparation for ...

For me Football never ends ... I watch the SB and then all the hoopla following that very staged event (Oops, did I type that out loud?) and then I regularly miss the Draft and all that excitement and then one day out of the blue @Tim turns to me and suggests that I start canvassing for players for my pick contest. See? It truly never ends ...

 

Do you follow the CFL? I do casually, its a great alternative and offers an exciting football game in the Summer... I really like it. Fast paced game too.

 

I actually don't Will. I used to follow the Alouettes (My Dad's team) but lost interest after a few years. Something about the NFL really sparks my interest and I don't know why because there isn't a lot of difference between the 2 leagues.

 

Well, maybe because the NFL showcases the worlds greatest talent and it certainly is marketed and promoted well. I guess its the pinnacle of the sport of football and its the place everybody wants to end up playing in... sure captured my attention at a very early age.

Ive even been known to watch Aussie Rules Football... those guys are nuts!

 

I read your comment and thought about the differences between the way the NFL and the CFL are marketed. That's the answer right there.

Have you ever played rugby Will? I played rugby in university even though I was short and only weighed about 100 lbs dripping wet. Best game in the UNIVERSE!

 

lol and no. Good for you, that's one sport I never attempted. Primarily football and baseball in my day. I wanted to play hockey, but no money and a cluts on skates.

 

It's a lot of fun. My brother played with the university rep team and I remember watching him run up the field vomiting as he ran but never ever stopping.

 

I used to play hockey on the channels between the boat houses. We would shovel the snow off the ice and pile it up in front of the overhead doors on the boat houses. Worked like a champ and it was free.

 

We used to do that as well on the pond behind our house. I watched my kids skate like maniacs with zero fear ...

 

i'm in a dynasty fantasy football league that runs all year long. trades happen in the off-season all the time and when someone gets injured or suspended, their owners start to scurry around looking for replacements. it's a lot of fun.

 

You know, Catfish... L4SN has plenty of fantasy action for free or pay for play... We would welcome you in a heartbeat.
