This has happened to me twice, the second time just today. You're talking with someone and they have a certain accent, but then you hear them talking to someone else with a totally different accent.

Once was a new york accent and then shifts to british, another time british that shifts to canadian.

Are these aspring actors just practicing?

One of them was a peeler I was banging. I met her a year later and she spoke totally canadian, no brit accent.

haha. speaking of lingo - when actress Emma Watson from Harry Potter was in college at Brown, she quickly realized she wasn't in the UK anymore. They have different words vs ours for certain items. So she was asking classmates for a rubber and they all laughed at her. She was really asking for an eraser. hahahaha.

Saw this floating around social media on Thursday and Friday. Peculiar how it sounds differently to different people. For the record, I heard “Laurel”.

Just goes to show how it's possible for people to hear two different things, not to mention interpret facts.

Now think about the other senses. Perception and interpretation aren’t limited to a single sense.

I don't believe anything I hear and only half of what I see.

Btw, these were the words of an 80 year old man who ended up passing away a couple of months later.
