What part of a series is not the same as a single championship do you not get? Nor does anyone talk about a single pitcher having won the championship like they do QBs in football. You can stop flailing now. You look like a fish flopping on the shore with your strawmen and ignoring what was said.
Then re-explain your criteria. The gist is Hardware vs No Losses. Is that not correct? If you wanna go strictly "perception", then everything is real, surreal and imaginary all at once and we have ZERO business debating anything here because we are all right, wrong and dreaming simultaneously.
Also, there are no GOAT international soccer teams. Every team that has won the Cup, has also lost the Cup at one time or another... except Uruguay and Spain. But they are BOTH ineligible due to only winning (1) World Cup (not multiple chunks of hardware), aka "One & Done".
Wall built. It's about Greatness, real (hardware) and perceived (not losing when it's all on the line). Categorically, 1 hit wonders are as ineligible as SB losers. (Anyone can get lucky ONCE, you know once, like Phil Simms, not to be confused with Phil Simms plus Jeff Hostetler)
Any evaluation system that posits Jim Plunkett is GREATER than Roger Staubach, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, John Elway, et al is an inherently flawed system.
One thing that is a fact about the 'GOAT' in any sport... its always debatable, opinionated and always a hot topic for discussion... GOAT is in the minds and eyes of the beholder.
