Honestly, I think Eric Reid may have had something to do with Justin Reid dropping in the draft. Also, Eric Reid has just filed a “collusion” grievance with the NFLPA.

  2. Does anybody have his 2016 highlights?

I believe it could have as well. There were reports circulating that Justin was highly supportive of his brother on social media and there were likely a few teams that pushed him down the board or possibly removed him altogether.

The score I had for Edmunds (679) put him at a mid second round value so while I don't consider it a huge reach, the score I had on Reid (720) is significantly better.

Hey guys, wanted to pass this along. Jaylen Samuels personal interview that speaks volumes on his story, desire and future in football. Where he comes from, what he's done to date and how he'll get to and past the next rung of his football career. Pretty impressive and I think we struck wildly versatile gold.

Honest guys,I don't mean to belabor the point, but when I get a chance to read someone else's thoughts on a newbie (unknown and second take info is always interesting to me) I just have to pass it along... here's some more on Jaylen Samuels.

So, I haven't seen this one in here yet. I think this well represents the genius of the FO and coaches. All the ILB talent was dried up so they went another direction with, especially, Edmunds and Allen. These two can play in the box, take on TE's and RB's as well as receivers. They like to hit and given a few steps will make people pay to cross the middle ...check out "the best" of of Allen ... from BTSC ... I do see the short middle to deep middle of our "every blade of grass" to be defended to be a potentially dangerous place for other kids to play...

I am very pleased with the draft.

Terrell Edmunds ... First rounder felt like a reach but he looks great on tape and has the pedigree Tomlin loves.

James Washington ... Second rounder looks like he has unlimited ability. Hope it clicks early for him as it did with JuJu. Don’t wanna jinx it but he really feels like another Steelers’ home run at wide receiver.

Mason Rudlolph ... Third rounder I was elated we got. I had him as my number one QB this draft in terms of NFL long-term potential. As said Colbert, didn’t expect him to get past 2nd round. As also said Colbert, they had him rated with the 1’s. Very, very excited and Big Ben now is gonna know what it feels like to be pushed, which is a good thing too.

Chukwuma Okorafor ... Third rounder 2.0, love his potential and potential versatility.

Marcus Allen ... Fifth rounder with upside at a needed position for us.

Jaylen Samuels ... Fifth rounder 2.0, I think he will get opportunities to spell relief for guys all over the field while adding excitement and creativity to our play calling. If captain obvious was still our OC, then I would be worried about how he was used and that every timenwould be telegraphed but fortunately that is not still the reality.

Seventh rounder ... Joshua Frazier - I read he has a big chip on his shoulder. Our kinda guy around here.

RB Jarvion Franklin stats and Highlights ... great looking numbers, but, speaking of numbers, how many RB's do the Steelers keep ?

    http://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/3129453/type/college/jarvion-franklin

Jarvion Franklin could be power back that the Pittsburgh Steelers are looking for.

The 6'0, 225-pound Franklin rushed for a whopping 4,867 yards and 52 touchdowns in four seasons with the Broncos while averaging 5.2 yards per carry. Franklin was one of 13 undrafted rookies that were signed by the Steelers shortly after the conclusion of the 2018 NFL Draft. "Franklin has tremendous size and splashed on the scene with one of the better freshman campaigns you will ever see, but his lack of functional burst is extremely limiting both as an inside and outside runner," NFL.com said of Franklin in his draft bio. "Franklin spends too much time attempting to elude tacklers rather than just trying to accelerate and run them over which is what he will need to do in order to become a short-yardage specialist in the NFL.
