  1. steelersking M.V.P. Steelers

Sorry to jump in late, but it’s not something anyone is really going to find out unless he sees the field. Won’t see him until 2020 unless Ben retires at the end of this season which is a possibility.

Lol No, it was about the Iranian revolution. (Yes, it's about exciting as it fucking sounds. Haha)

FTR: I actually got two of them...J.T. Barrett is on my list as well. Though I'd be happy if I'm wrong, I don't see him getting drafted.

Damn, they display their participation trophies from the 80s? That's a little sad...

Yeah, before the "story" became national news within the last couple of weeks, he was rated around the 5th round...then everyone fell in love with his story and all of a sudden everyone wanted him to get drafted in the 3rd. I think he has a shot at the 4th, but might still go in the 5th like originally projected.

My favorite part of this draft is how so much talent had similar grades once you get past the consensus group think.

It makes for all kinds of "whoa, didn't see that pick coming." and "what the fuck was that?".

This will be a fun class to review in 2021.

  7. Seems like Steelers and Ravens might be on the same schedule for QB replacement.

Well hell... its day 3 of the Draft and I'm chillin just watching the pre-Draft show. I'm a glutton for punishment (and speculation and stories and rumors and BS with commercials).

I sure expect the Bengals to take a QB at some point...Probably WKU guy.

    Round 2
    33. Cleveland Browns - Nevada T Austin Corbett
    C+
My score on Corbett put him as a low 4th to mid 5th round player so this feels like an extreme reach. There are those that really like his long term upside but he is lacking in some of the necessary physical traits that I look for in transitioning linemen.

    34. New York Giants - UTEP G Will Hernandez
    A+
This is the selection I believe Cleveland should have made just one pick earlier. Hernandez scores as a late first round pick and represents rock solid value for the Giants at #34 overall.

    35. Cleveland Browns (from Houston Texans) - Georgia RB Nick Chubb
    A-
Considering the block or running backs that have similar scores and the idea that Chubb has a number that would put him somewhere in the third this pick feels like a safe one for Cleveland. They obviously have a need for a between the tackles runner and behind the offensive line that the Browns possess he should become and immediate factor for them in short yardage situations.

    36. Indianapolis Colts - South Carolina State LB Darius Leonard
    A-
I view Leonard as more of a late third round talent but because of the tremendous need at the position and Darius' real upside this pick gets a slight bump up. I believe he can be a long term starter and solidify one spot in the linebacking group for the Colts.

    37. Indianapolis Colts (from New York Jets) - Auburn G Braden Smith
    B+
I had to go back an review my rankings at offensive line because Smith's name was not listed, but he does come in at #14 overall with a score of 628 (I'll correct the rankings today). There is enough about Braden's game to warrant a day two pick, but I would have preferred that pick be closer to the end of the day.

    38. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - USC RB Ronald Jones II
    B
This pick actually gets a slight bump up for me because of the need it addresses for the Buccaneers, but it's still just a B because of my personal score on the player. Ronald Jones gets a lot more love everywhere else so it will be interesting to watch and see how this plays out.

    39. Chicago Bears - Iowa C James Daniels
    A
Just a solid 'A' grade kind of pick near the top of the second. Daniels could have easily gone on day one and if feels like the Bears are putting together a pretty solid draft with their first two picks.

    40. Denver Broncos - SMU WR Courtland Sutton
    A+
This pick gets a subtle bump up as I like the Broncos approach to both picks so far. They sat in place and went BPA with two players sliding to them that most believed, myself included, would be off the board just a few spots before Denver went on the clock.

    41. Tennessee Titans (from Oakland Raiders) - Boston College DE Harold Landry
    A
The Titans did exactly what I projected them to do with a trade up to grab a sliding Harold Landry, only they did it a full round later. News broke of injury concerns for Harold (back and knee) so his stock took a hit but Tennessee has added to quality players do the defense and they are really starting to get the roster right to compete for the AFC South title.

    42. Miami Dolphins - Penn State TE Mike Gesicki
    A
Solid pick for Miami and an instant contributor drafted on day two is always a plus. Gesicki should find a great deal of success early on playing for coach Gase.

    43. Detroit Lions (from New England Patriots via San Francisco 49ers) - Auburn RB Kerryon Johnson
I view Kerryon as more of a late day 2/early day 3 pick and I'm not sold that this is the most solid fit for the Lions. He has some traits that will transition well but I believe his ceiling may be lower than what the majority is projecting.

    44. San Francisco 49ers (from Washington Redskins) - Washington WR Dante Pettis
    C
This feels like a reach in the second as Pettis may end up having more value as a return specialist than a wide receiver. Dante had a high 5th round score in our system but he should benefit immensely from playing with Jimmy Garoppolo.

    45. Green Bay Packers - Iowa CB Joshua Jackson
    A+
The Packers have now added a second corner back with a first round score in this draft, and they did it at #45 overall. Green Bay is making a commitment to fix the secondary and both of the picks they have made so far will go a long way towards achieving that goal.

    46. Kansas City Chiefs (from Cincinnati Bengals) - Ole Miss DT Breeland Speaks
    B-
Speaks represents another reach in our scoring system and I was surprised that the Chiefs made the move up for him here. I'm not sure he will be able to handle the duties of a starting 3-4 DE.

    47. Arizona Cardinals - Texas A&M WR Christian Kirk
    A
Solid pick here for the Cardinals and a smart move to make after taking Josh Rosen in the first. Kirk is a solid second round value and even though I have some receivers with a better score still available I really can't knock this pick.

    48. Los Angeles Chargers - USC DE Uchenna Nwosu
    A
The Chargers just seem to be making good decisions to fix up the defense as Nwosu profiles as an interior linebacker with the flexibility to play all over the front 6 in nickel packages. This is one of my favorite picks so far in the second round.

    49. Philadelphia Eagles (from Indianapolis Colts) - South Dakota State TE Dallas Goedert
    A-
This is a position with a little bit more need in Philly than some might suggest and I'm sure Carson Wentz is happy with this selection. I like Goedert as more of a gadget piece in the passing game with the ability to play some slot and move across the line to create mismatches on linebackers.

    50. Dallas Cowboys - Texas T Connor Williams
    A
Just a solid value pick here as Dallas continues to get stout players for what will again be one of the best offensive lines in football. Williams could have easily gone in the latter portions of the first.

    51. Chicago Bears (from New England Patriots via Detroit Lions) - Memphis WR Anthony Miller
    B+
I don't have as high of a score in Anthony Miller as a lot of analysts do, but the upside here is sound enough. That, and the idea that the Bears appear committed to make life as easy as possible for their second year quarterback gives this pick a slight bump.

    52. Indianapolis Colts (from Philadelphia Eagles via Baltimore Ravens) - Rutgers DE Kemoko Turay
    B
Turay scores out as a high 4th round pick in our system so I'm not really high on this selection for the Colts. It does continue to address the needs on defense but Turay's floor may be the lowest of any pick so far in the second round.

    53. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (from Buffalo Bills) - North Carolina CB M.J. Stewart
    A-
It will be interesting to see how they deploy Stewart on Sundays in Tampa Bay as he does possess the requisite tool kit to become a starting safety or corner in the NFL. He scores out as more of a third round but I like the upside here for the Buccaneers.

    54. Cincinnati Bengals (from Kansas City Chiefs) - Wake Forest S Jessie Bates
    B-
Considering the players that are still available at safety this pick is the one I am most down on at this point in the second round. Bates scores out as our 11th ranked prospect at the position but he does get a lot of first round nods from many analysts.

    55. Carolina Panthers - LSU CB Donte Jackson
    A
Size concerns not withstanding, Donte may be the best pure nickle back prospect in this class. If he can hold up to the type of power the NFL puts on the field then this pick should prove to be solid value.

    56. New England Patriots (from Tampa Bay Buccaneers) - Florida CB Duke Dawson
    A
I kept hearing in the lead up to the draft that Duke Dawson was killing his interviews and would be taken a lot higher than what most were projecting. This is a bit higher than what my score has him slotted at, but I like the upside here and in New England he likely becomes a rock solid starter and long term answer at CB.

    57. Oakland Raiders (from Tennessee Titans) - Sam Houston State DT P.J. Hall
    C+
Everyone is in love with Hall's athleticism, and with good reason, but I'm not solid on this being the pick at #57 overall. Hall's score put him as a mid day 3 pick on our board.

    58. Atlanta Falcons - Colorado CB Isaiah Oliver
    A+
Again, the Falcons patiently wait and snag up superior talent. Atlanta is quietly putting together a really solid 2018 draft class.

    59. Washington Redskins (from San Francisco 49ers) -- LSU RB Derrius Guice
    A+
He was linked to the Redskins as a potential first round pick, so basically Washington got two first round targets so far in this draft. Derius will provide an immediate spark on the ground for the Skins and drastically improve their ground game.

    60. Pittsburgh Steelers - Oklahoma State WR James Washington
    A-
I have other wide receivers more highly ranked, but this was the top landing spot I had for James to be an early success in the NFL. This feels like a really solid blend of player and team.

    61. Jacksonville Jaguars - LSU D.J. Chark
    A+
Part of my 'Perfection' mock for the Jaguars in the first round, this fell like theft at the bottom of the second for the Jaguars. Put Chark on one side, DeDe on the other and tear the roof off the defense while Fournette busts out yardage between the tackles. Al Davis would approve.

    62. Minnesota Vikings - Pitt T Brian O'Neill
    B+
I have O'Neill as more of a late 3rd round prospect but he does address a need for the Vikings. I'm a bit intrigued by how Minnesota has approached this draft and they will be one of the more interesting teams to watch on day 3.

    63. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (from New England Patriots) - Auburn CB Carlton Davis
    A
Very solid pick here by Tampa Bay and he represents good value at the bottom of the second. I like the Bucs approach so far.

    64. Indianapolis Colts (from Cleveland Browns) - Ohio State DE Tyquan Lewis
    B-
Again, a bit of a head scratcher from Indy. I view Tyquan as more of an early day 4 prospect so it kind of feels like the Colts are reaching for need instead of working the board.

Jalyn Holmes to Vikings...(I had a Buckeye on the riser list as well. ;)) Just couldn't decide between him or Tyquan....Ty would have been a little better, but I'll take it.
