Maurice Hurst & Orlando Brown have both dropped off the map. really thought the Giants would grab Rudolph.
It's a shame the skipper on Justin Smith for some 5th and 6th round picks that likely amount to nothing. Meanwhile, Weddle continues to age
That was a good trade, they now own 4 picks within like 50 picks int he middle of this draft and relative to what they had when they entered the draft- and given that this draft is deep- its been a stellar showing thus far. Whether or not they hit on these picks is an entirely different matter and as we all know, drafting is not a science, there are too many unknown variables but they have conducted themselves very well this draft 2k
And this is where Ozzie traditionally shines with his picks. Small schools and free falling blue chips.
off the top of my head, i would say the last truly deep class i can remember was 2010. there were a few that had one or two positions that were solid all the way to the 5th but this draft outside of wr's ( of course the one year we probs really want them) most positions have a lot of depth especially DL, DB and RB 2k
If 2010 was truly the last deep class, then people lie because all that was said last year was how deep the draft was. I guarantee next year we say the same thing. Haha
They gave up the 75th pick in the third round to the Chiefs for the 86 pick in the third round and the 122nd pick (fourth round)
I mean just look at this: this is what we have(had) right now coming up: Round 1: No. 25 Round 1: No. 32 Round 3: No. 75 Round 3: No. 83 Round 4: No. 118 Round 4: No. 122 Round 4: No. 132 Round 5: No. 152 Round 6 No. 212 Round 6: No. 190 Round 7: No. 238 this is what we started with: Round 1 No. 16 Round 2 No. 52 Round 3 No. 83 Round 4 No. 118 Round 5 No. 154 Round 6 No. 190 Round 6 No. 215 (Compensatory Selection) Round 7 No. 238 It is going very well from a management side of things, again we have no clue how these guys will be for a few years but hurst seems very good and jackson has a lot of upside in a good situation 2k
I hope they don't draft Brown. Gallup or Ateman would be cool. So would the edge rusher from OK (can't spell or pronounce his name).
