Well you can count this Colts fan as someone in the excited for round 2 camp. Also as someone who spells offense or defense this way when referring to sports. Or the other way in reference to legal proceedings.
The word on Harold Landry is that he is going to continue to slide because of a previously undisclosed back and knee injury.
1. Hell yeah, Darnold and Allen go to the AFC East. Go fight the Patsies . 2 .Good move dumping Bryant for a 3rd rounder.. I like it 3. I'm not excited about Edmonds, but it is too soon to tell .Feels like a Ziggy Hood pick. 4. Can the Steelers move Bud Dupree to ILB? 5. I like the Baker Mayfield pick. This helps the Steelers . Hahahahaha 6. Louis Riddick is the best dude on ESPN . 7. Shaqem Griffin would be a better LB than Jarvis Jones. 8. Ohio college players, through the Draft and free agency, are playing more in Pro Ohio. 9. Lamer Jackson is now the enemy and must die. I called him Lamer. I was first. 10. Kay Adams on NFLN is only like 5'0" . She's still HOT. 2
Roger Goodell's smug smirk be like - "Go ahead and boo ya little bitches. I gots a private jet for l-i-f-e."
You are explaining this like I don't know about Joe in 2012 (or at any other point). I understand the motivations or lack thereof of players with big contracts and said as much. I know Joe has been off his game - some of that is him and some is the team dynamic and bad luck. 2012 - Win SB and SBMVP 2013 - Team is plundered of player/coaching talent, Flacco: Most completions and passing yards, but most INTs and sacks (48) - not on all Joe. 2014 - Team Advances to Division Title, loses narrow defeat to eventual SB Champs. 2015 - Joe on pace for career season with another bad OL, Hurst thrown into Joe's leg by defender, finishes game with ACL/MCL tear - not on Joe. 2016 - Joe puts up career yards passing, 7th in league and completions, TDs remain ho-hum, 33 sacks. 2017 - Joe suffers back injury, misses preseason, back injury affects until week 10-11, completion % remains among career highs and INT lows, 27 sacks. So, I wouldn't say he's been unmotivated since 2012. I know for a fact he's held early practices with his receivers. I wouldn't say he's been a firebrand either, but we know that is not his way. He's had 6 OCs in 6 seasons. Lack of continuity there to build and grow on. He still has 5-6 years more of good football left at least and salary (i.e. Brady) can be managed. I look to the team management and circumstances too. How much good offensive talent have they invested in for him? Clearly not as much as their defense. Of that, how much of those pass catchers failed? How many consistent targets has he had since Pitta? And here I'm defending Joe but this is not my goal. I'm trying to understand how much sense it made to trade up for a rushing QB that will likely end up on the IR sooner than later if he starts.
Browns Select AUSTIN CORBETT and the boos come. I thought he may be called today but wow. This was high. I was starting to think the Eagles might settle for him. So I am a bit relieved for now.
