Ravens offseason and draft thread

Ravens give up a 6th and get a 4th.

 

Not a fan of either trade result, but it seems Ozzie is trying to go out with some showmanship.

 

I actually like the trades. We didn't gain in number of picks, but we're picking earlier so that's a plus, and the first round pick is one they've targeted.
With NE taking the Tackle, we have our choice of whichever WR is left, if that's the plan. And we didn't mess with the second round.

 

Just being honest...I can’t believe Ridley is still there and they probably didn’t expect it so I think their targeting a TE or James Daniels

 

If the Ravens were always at 22, I'd be ok with the second trade. I just think the first trade value from 16 was bad. Yes we will be excited at the start the 3rd round, but it doesn't satiate me now.

I think Moore is a good player, but he would have been wasted on the Ravens. Ridley needs to be the pick.

Panthers took DJ Moore. Very disappointing. Hope he wasn't their target. That would suck ass!

 

I appreciate that, but I think the Ravens will get the player they wanted (Ridley or Moore), the pick of the TE's, or a LB AND, they moved up in the draft to get, hopefully, some quality players.

 

Ridley? Hayden? Goedert? Conner Williams?

 

Pick is in, Ridley, Hurst, defense???

I hope it was the right call. I guess in his last draft as GM going TE was apropo.

 

He was the best TE and they moved up in later rounds...can’t ask for much more

 

Which is why I like the trades. They got, I think, a player they had targeted the entire time, lower in the round and moved up significantly n two rounds.
