    wth post got mangled.

Team that picks Vita Vea will make any team better. He stuffs the run pushes the pocket. All I hear from Ed Booschitt on PPG is that as a nose tackle he only plays 20% of the snaps. Watch this kid play all 3 downs for Miami ?? Washington ?? and inject power & Youth into their D. He’s a better version of Danny Shelton and more violent than Haloti Ngata. He’s 30 yards down field making tackles , at 340 that’s insane.

Wild card here: Will Hernandez I’m super high on this dude. But I’d probably take Mike Gisecki if all the top LB S and CB are gone.

Draft Day is here at last. I will admit that I have invested far less this year in draft analysis than I have in years past, so my knowledge of the players is not what it has been for other drafts.

I am in agreement with many here. A double-dip at ILB is likely, as well as a safety. If RB goes high, that means goodbye to Bell next year.
Despite the medical, I think if Vander Esch is available, he is the likely choice. I like Smith, but I think he is gone. Same with V. Vea. However, Pittsburgh has often had people fall to them. I understand the interest in Guice and Michel. I haven't seen enough of Guice to judge, but I love Michel. I think he is a Bell clone-- plug and play. CB Alexander would also be a nice option.
Safety Bates in round 2, maybe.
And I think their interest in the Australian OT is genuine. I see him as a late round grab if he is available.
I wouldn't freak if they took Mason Rudolph. I'm not sure if he is the answer, but I think I am more down on Ben playing at a high level for 3 more years than a lot of people on this board.

If Bates is around in the 3rd, I think that is a steal.
I also like the WR James from Mid Tenn St. in the 4th if he's still there.
Josh Jackson, Denzel Ward, and Alexander all have potential at CB in the early going. I wish Hughes were just a little taller as a mid-round option (and had stayed at UCF one more year).

I wish I knew more about some of the guys in the draft this year.

Pumpkin isn't it defensive back 8 for the Steelers?

Giants have to take Barkley and Browns take Darnold & Chubb, Jets grab Mayfart , he’s going to stink. Cleveland is taking offers for #4 but that’s dumb. You got the cap grab Chubb put him opposite Jarret and let them hunt.

I’d take Rosen over Mayfield throws in tighter windows. His frame is on the thin side and it worries me. Darnold had a lot of turnovers but he’s the most ready.

Ronnie Harrison is boom or bust I’d stay clear . The Steelers might pick Cedric Wilson Jr. some ties to the Steelers. His dad was shipped out after a domestic violence issue but before that he was good depth and productive. Whichever scout evaluates WR for the Steelers should get a raise.

Given the window of Ben , ILB has to come early to fix that glaring roster hole. Maybe the medical on Vander Esch was a smoke screen, just like Hoodie taking QB. Don’t be shocked if NE trades they hold some nice picks. I think he looks hard at CB .

Anyone else like Natrell Jamerson Safety from Wisconsin? I still hope they draft or sign Justin Watson he’s some good clay to work with

Not familiar with the Badger, but I like Watson though.

Good luck to the Steelers tonight. I know you have a wide range of players that everyone has been discussing in here but I hope you get what's needed and gets everyone excited for 2018.
