I can't disagree....Not that we are desperate, but If I had to bet on a guy to be a week 1 starter, Mayfield and Rosen would be the clear favorites. I've had the feeling for a while now that Josh Rosen might be the best of the bunch. He might actually be a Brady/Rodgers clone... Dude did that ESPN segment with Aaron Rodgers, and those two do have a lot of similarities. And yet, Rosen is much more of a pure pocket guy like Brady.... Then there is the fact that they all 3 might be smarter than the rest of society....
I might have been suckered into media hype on my final Browns mock with Sam Darnold. lol!..We'll see. I just wanted to get the pick right...I'm kinda hoping that's exactly what happened....
Won't be sober enough to find a gif, friend. They were reporting the trade talks between Buffalo and Cleveland were heating up at #4 as well. Losing out on Baker and Chubb? Ouch.
Please, oh please don't trade out from #4. Take two solid guys who will start and help immediately (OK well, not the new QB - couple of years riding the pine and learning to start with for him). QB (not Darnold) at #1 and Chubb/Barkley/Best DB at #4. If they get too cutesie with this draft, I may have to follow through and jump ship and become a Lions fan (at least the Lions fans couldn't accuse me of being a bandwagoner).
I don't think it's going to be Chubb at #4... I believe it will be Mayfield #1.. Giants can't pass on the opportunity to draft the future as they are rarely in this position...Sam Darnold Jets Josh Rosen Browns take the best football player in the draft...Saquon Barkley, if not for QBs, should be the #1 pick in the draft. Using his skill set could propel this Browns offense into one of the best for the next 5-8 years...take pressure off of Mayfield in 2019.
