I have rarely seen those overturned when the interferer is the eventual scorer and essentially is forced to that line by a defender. I can see why it's reversed but that rarely is overturned when the call was a goal in those situations.

 

Rick Nash has something like 20 SOG this series

 

Always overturned when you set your edges right at the goalie and take his stick out of his hand while he’s in the crease. Replay shouldn’t have even taken that long

 

On the 2-on-1 that just happened the Leafs defender didn't cover the shooter OR the pass. LMAO. And you see why I chirp them.

 

The alternative was crashing straight into him.

He wasn't trying to. Bergeron kept keeping him from getting above the crease in the slot. That is why you rarely see those called interference.

 

He set his own edges, it’s that simple. This isn’t a difficult call. Bergeron didn’t push him in to the crease and it’s not Bergeron responsibility to make sure Jyman doesn’t crash the crease

 

Hyman hit the blocker after he was already trying to turn and stop but he was rode into Rask's blocker, and contact was also after he got possession of the puck. I can clearly see why it can be interference and I'm not too pissed about the call but I see this stand on more than 50% of calls.
