SAS recommends that you ignore people who exist only to antagonize or annoy. If you agree with him, SAS is a solid candidate.

I mentioned the part that supported the opinion I've had for two months now. Just like everyone else in here. It's ridiculous that my motives are called into question simply because you don't like my opinion. I don't accuse of malfeasance because you think Mayfield will be the pick and support it with outside info. I just say I think you're wrong.

This and while I admit you guys have had to endure that shit unfairly I personally never make those comments.

I don't really say I think he WILL be the pick, sometimes I do to piss people off, but I absolutely BELIEVE he should be the pick...I certainly have stated my case as to the why. I don't pick a single excerpt from a press conference and paste it on a message board {with no other subject, backup message, etc.} and let it sit there to see what reaction it gets. That is what I have been seeing lately.

There are a lot of people on here that don't like me...I get it, they think I am argumentative...but, when I see something I don't agree with, I voice my opinion. Others would rather sit back and just ignore it, that's their prerogative, just as it's mine to voice my opinion. I'll tell you this, when SAS and myself are not "in our moods" this board gets pretty damn boring and even Steelers fans don't come around.

I've made my feelings on Allen public on numerous occasions. Dropping a Twitter post in this thread is commonplace. You're just griping because you don't like Allen.

Well my adverse bias is certainly true towards Allen. I feel with good reason. Truth is though, I'm not sure you will find a single Browns fan on these boards that would champion Allen, the only ones that are here doing that are Steelers fans. I just speak out more..

I think this is an interesting note. I don't think anyone has ever come to a sports forum in an attempt not to discuss or argue (or to read those taking place). I would say that, if you find people are disengaging, it might not be because they want to, but because the atmosphere here isn't otherwise conducive.

I recognize that I'm a Bears fan on a Browns board, but I'm a Browns supporter, and I've never been hostile to or unnecessarily critical of the team / organization / fan base. With my input above and elsewhere, I'm not intending for that to change. I do think the above is something worth considering.

I totally back this up. Beach may be an asshole, but definitely not a troll.

Beach is like a woman in that he can never lose an argument. But he is also very knowledgeable on a lot of things and is right a lot more than he is wrong.

I could see where you might conclude this based on recent activity...however, you don't come around when there isn't a lively debate going on...and do you know why you decide not to come around during those times?

It's because it is rare that anyone posts when there isn't something controversial to read. These boards are DEAD unless we have two people engaging in debate, outright arguments or there is some juicy gossip to display. We are inherently human and for whatever reason, it is what everyone craves. If everyone agreed or were easily swayed, these message boards wouldn't even exist.

I agree with everything but the woman part... Back in my partying days, I would take just about any female home after 3:00 am...I'm not proud of that, but, well, reality is what it is...Knowing beach, HE certainly isn't something I would have taken home after 5:00 am of all night drinking...I could blame it on Pittsburgh being used to seeing women who look like men...but I won't at this time...;)

I got no takers on this in the Movie Trivia thread. Let's see how it goes here.

In the movie "Draft Day", what was the veteran, returning QB, Brian Drew's jersey number?

    Bonus points:

Name the only two Browns QB's who wore that number IRL.

    Amen to that!
JFTR, I don't have a problem with beach and have never considered him a troll. I appreciate knowing diehard football people. He's a knowledgeable football guy and I don't see him as an instigator at all. When debating back and forth with him, I don't look at it as any different than debating with fellow Browns fans. I was in a twist about something a week or so ago with him, but I don't even remember what it was. Nothing I took seriously...Other than that brief exchange, I don't remember ever having any conflicts with beach. Not since way back in the early CBS days anyway, and I was an instigator then. lol!

Do Cleveland fans carry a chip? Of course they do. It was the biggest one in sports history BEFORE Hue took us 1-31... Now, I think it's safe to assume that sensitivities are at an all time high... Considering the fortunes of our franchise's over the last 50 years, it's not hard to see how these things get exasperated.

More fuel for the fire week #1....

I couldn't do it without looking it up and didn't want to spoil it for someone that actually knew the answer. Which is sad...for two reasons...1) I couldn't remember what # Drew wore after watching Draft Day between 20-25 times...2) I've watched Draft Day 20-25 times, which makes me sad in my own right.

lol! Yeah, I couldn't remember either....For some reason I was thinking 18, but I couldn't recall anyone other than Gary Danielson that wore it.

How do you know it wasn't #2 (Tim Couch and Johnny Manziel) or #13 (Frank Ryan and Spergon Wynn) ?
