Get ready for tonight, not sure the leafs could pull off another one without kadri and komorov.

 

I wouldn't count out Vegas right now. The Preds are tough, but Vegas shows no signs or slowing down or stopping.

 

I want to see if the VGK can score if they have to. They didn't really put up huge offensive numbers against LA, but they stuck to their system and scored just enough to beat a big team and a great goalie. If they advance to the Western Finals and draw the Preds, they will have to do what they did against the Kings already, but the Preds, in my opinion, can score more than LA.

Just pure speculation on my part and a lot of hockey to get to that point. I'm really, really impressed with the Sharks play to... cant really leave them out of the convo. On the other hand, I'm not sold the Ducks were all that good. Again, more opinion.

The biggest surprise this first round so far has been the lop-sidedness of the series that have been played. Only CLB/WSH and BOS/TOR are still close. The rest are one-sided or over.

 

The kings were playing shutdown and it cost them. I'm sure if vegas gets a run and gun opponent you'll see goals.
