could the Browns take 2 QBs in the first rd ? Dallas did it with Aikman and Walsh and then unloaded Walsh for 3 picks. Wow. I think Browns fans would riot if this happened an they passed on Barkley.

If it hadn't been for the fact that Jimmy Johnson was Walsh's college coach, I don't think Dallas would've made that pick.

 

Now if you wanna tell me they'll draft a QB at the top and then come back with another in the middle like Washington did with RGIII and Cousins or even earlier than that with all the picks they have, that I'd buy. But two in the top 4? I'm pretty sure Ron Wolf would drive to Cleveland and clonk his kid and Dorsey's heads together Moe Howard style.

I saw that on CBS (above), but I don't think that's accurate. Is the full schedule out now? CBS is reporting schedules in pieces. the NFL said last month it's Philly - Minny on Thursday night and the Champs always open on Thursday night. Why would they play Atlanta ? And CBS says the Eagles are playing the Rams again on the road? Why? They just played them last year on the road? Doesn't it rotate ??

Because it would still be Thursday night, just not vs Minny. Either the leak was wrong or the League changed their mind.

After 16 years of playing in the NFL, Dwight Freeney is hanging up his cleats.

The Indianapolis Colts announced Thursday that the pass rusher has decided to retire as a member of the Colts.

SeeBS is only reporting the schedule parts that the NFL has announced. The NFL are the ones breaking into little pieces. Reminds me of the Meddle album by Pink Floyd. One of these days catfish might figure out what I just said.

 

It appears Elway is trying to weaken the compensation the Browns could receive in a trade up to 4. By announcing that 5 is for sale, combined with the fact that teams don't believe the Browns would take a 2nd QB it makes 5 the more desirable target. The only way to combat that would be to make teams think you may draft a 2nd QB and put him up for sale.
