We may have more knowledgeable guys here but at CBS it was hardcore. Most of them followed us here but man it was crazy.

Just so people know, the AFC North is the division that can have an extra practice squad player, but that player has to be an international player. Effectively having 11 players on their squad.

 

You didn't HAVE to do it right at midnight. And if I remember correctly, we only did it that way once or twice. Usually it was done as an 8th and 9th round of the draft. Joe used a random number generator to create a random order for teams for the first UDFA signing and then reversed it for the second one. Everybody then had posted times, in 5 minute intervals. You just posted your pick whenever you liked after your time came.

Each year it rotates. This year its the AFC North. From what I understand (correct if wrong) the practice squad was 8 players, but was bumped to 10 for 2 intl players, but I'm not sure if they have to be this year. The AFC North can have 11 players if the 11th player is an international player.
