It happens more and more nowadays. We did it with Nate Gerry last year and the Rams more famously did it with Mark Barron.

Two of our "regular" LBs are 218 and 222 pounds, so it wouldn't take all that much in the way of bulking up for him to fit right in at the second level.

 

Maybe the league will continue to trend this way. And eventually for a competitive advantage the league will backtrack and start bringing in bulky RBs to pound right through these puny LBs.

 

Or go back to having fullbacks that actually run the ball, like in the '70s.

Between Irish in this one and Lyman in the GMO draft, our Browns fans have been doing a better job as emergency fill-in Saints GM's than some of the presumed Saints fans I've seen in other mocks.
