Honestly, this game could easily of went to OT with a few lucky bounces, a win is a win.

Next game I’ll be recovering from lasik surgery. It’s PRK, a little different but same result. Anyway, I’m assuming I can’t watch next game.

shocker there. see what playing for a playoff team does to a person ?

good luck with that Matty. My brother had it over 10 yrs ago. An ex co-worker of mine had it too and loved it.

I was referring to a team, not a person.

they got a great player via the trade, so they made him better and vice versa and the result is a lot of wins.

Brayden Holtby will start game 3 for the Caps... musical goaltenders can not be an ideal situation for Washington.

    Not a shocker, Cat.

Certainly being on a good team helps a lot. But look at Kane - he is built for playoff hockey. I said in February that he was going to make a GM look smart, and make a team happy.

Sabres fans are all Sharks fans now. If they win the SC then the 2019 conditional pick becomes a first. In a more likely scenario Kane resigns with SJ - that is another condition that'll send a first to Buffalo.

Kane makes them a stronger team, no doubt. He's better on a team that's already established, rather than being part of a rebuild.

I agree. He sure has fit in well with that group. He's bringing, speed, scoring and sand paper... cant ask for more come Playoffs time.

You can't ask Kane to play anymore of a role than just fitting in and inserting his skill. If you want him as a mentor for rookies and leadership, you have the wrong guy.

This kind of repeated what I was saying. A playoff team is already established, and Kane is built for playoff hockey.

Fans around the league ought to be challenging their GM's for why & how they got suckered into the trope about Kane being a bad guy in the locker room. That is simply not supported by facts. Concerned that he had no playoff experience? Does that stop a GM from drafting a prospect? After all, that prospect has zero NHL experience. If I were a Blues fan I'd be boiling mad since Kane would probably have been the difference in making the playoffs. And, as NAS demonstrated last year, once you're in anything can happen. If you've got a very fast and physical F, your odds of success are much greater.

Any support for that? (Other than the Buffalo & Winnipeg presses?)
