Well, that answers the question of how he can like players other than Buckeyes... ...RT has common sense.
I thought it was TD that took a guy in UDFA for sentimental reasons a couple of years ago. Pretty sure it was him.
Ugh. Working late on a Sat night. I'm seriously thinking about firing my client, so to speak, when the current contract ends in June. They have become dysfunctional to the point that it makes it extremely difficult to do things for them, yet they consistently need things within tight deadlines. In this case they were supposed to have a data set from another vendor prepped for me to start working on it on Thursday. My part is roughly a 12 hour job, and they need me to be finished early Monday for auditor review. No data on Thursday. Instead they finally have it posted for me at 4pm Friday, and they still asked me to confirm that I'll have it back to them Monday morning. This is becoming par for the course from them. I'm ready to recommend various acts from Leviticus and Deuteronomy that they might perform with large, angry zoo animals.
Yeah, unless you're desperate I'd say break those ties when this contract ends. Doesn't sound like a mutually beneficial arrangement
Never let the pet swetty, 10% will always cause you to lose time, effort and energy. Cut them and spend your time prospecting.
They used to be a good company and I thought of them almost like family. I've done a lot of good things for them over the years, and they've had positive national publicity specifically related to my work. They have also been part of several key milestones in my career, and I wouldn't be running my own practice today without them. But nearly everyone there that I knew well and liked has left. Two of them - who had each been there for well over a decade - flat out told me they were jumping ship because it had become hell on earth and they couldn't stand it there anymore. I really don't even know this new group that's running things in relation to my work. And for other reasons, I don't think I can trust them. So unless they clarify a few things for me and give me confidence that they are getting it together, it's time for me to exit stage left. I won't terminate the contract early, I'll do everything they require through June, and I'll try to be available down the road after these muppets get fired and a more competent group takes their place. I'll probably just inform them that I'm shutting down for all of July through September for health reasons and decline to renew/extend the current contract. That's close enough to full truth - I'm a stage two hypertension patient (above 160/100) still recovering from a few other health complications. I'll be cutting back this summer for sure, probably only working for two clients.
