I’ll trade you I thought Cappa might last to this pick but was comfortable taking White first since Harrison was still on the board.
I've got the Jets over the Pens. Which makes me a sucker since Canadian teams can't win. We only sell our talent.
That another great and possible scenario. I'm hoping the Jets go deep in the playoffs. What a great place to see a hockey game... the white out' is cool. Vegas was rockin last night too.
I have grown to greatly dislike the Jets and their fans. F¥<€ WPG. Nashville has become a legitimate hockey town, and it's a very hard place to be a road team. It's also a blast watching games there.
I've only been to one NHL arena...Nationwide, in Columbus. (of course) ...But I mention it because I always have a great time. No idea how Columbus stacks up with other venues, but when that crowd gets going and they start cranking the AC/DC and firing the cannon, it's a blast.
I've been to all but 3 NHL rinks in the USA & most in Canada (also many AHL, ECHL, and NCAA rinks). Oh - I am a hockey fan. So, TopDawg, it gives me pleasure to report that the most fun I've ever had at an NHL rink was in Columbus. If the barn were packed I would rate it higher. I like to see knowledgeable fans and lots of them at a game. Because the seats were about 20% void of any asses, Columbus gets marked down a bit. (Chicago & Detroit are my #1&2 venues.) But if I ranked 'em solely on how much fun the games - and the aftergame venues, then #1 goes to Columbus & Nashville is 2nd.
Thanks for the report Dan...That's awesome about Columbus. Especially considering the struggles of the young franchise....Maybe they are finally building a winner. I'd be so psyched if they could knock out Washington...My brother in-law loves Columbus because he can watch his Pens play for considerably less ticket cost than what it is in Pittsburgh...Consistant winning could change all that I imagine..
