Eagles didn't get that many sacks but a ton of pressures. I like pressures but it isn't something you can quantify as much as you need to see.
wow, am I OTC? Sorry, I've been busy making money. I need to update my board and can then make a pick.
lol, I'm buying into your rant all the way. PFF 'stats' are not stats. They are opinions in a numerical format with variables that they choose to interpret in their own manner, subject to change according to how they view any given play. It's like ESPNs quarterback metric. If you read the fine print on how ESPN creates that number, they include a portion that specifically states that they will change the final number if it comes out to something they don't agree with. In other words - even ESPN doesn't trust it's system for grading quarterbacks, lol.
I went through this with flowers specifically during the 2016 season. By all accounts he was improving still a low end NFL starter but an improving player. When you compiled his scores that PFF released through week 13 he tested out ok. Like I said low end NFL starter. I couldn't find grades for him for weeks 14 - 17. He just didn't appear in there free articles etc... When they released his public end of season grade it was a mathematically impossible number based on how he had graded out the first 13 weeks. Again I don't think flowers is anything to write home about -- but they change their story whenever they want and however they want. And then people treat these things like they are the bible because some intern got locked in a closet and applied a rubric to game film.
I like PFF but I would never subscribe to it. It is good on some metrics. For the most part I like how they grade Offensive Linemen, but they are subject to change scores for players when they get a different guy to review a player when they think the original guy did a shitty job. Also I don't care for their college grades much.
On top of that, because people have started treating it like the bible, they've pushed their cost up so high no normal person could possibly justify paying for it...if they can afford it at all.
45 minutes to go still so no rush. I'm sure SPress knows the schedule. We have an auto ready just in case.
My only suggestion would be that the Auto-Pick should have to go after the next player to ensure no sniping, since that player is late, then they should get another teams to choice. But what do I know lol
We do that sometimes but we'll go with what we've been doing all round so far. The Panthers have been informed of the auto so they are ready. Quew, we weren't ready until last moment when you were up.
