You can talk trades but not everyone knows their teams yet. I am going to post the team list at 5 whether I get the replies I'm waiting for or not. But trading still won't be open for another couple hours yet.

I worked at a liquor store in college. Great to have the discount but I used to see the same 5 or 6 people first thing every morning. The worst was the old lady that bought a 4 pack of sutter home drank one in her car and then decided if she was going to take a nap or drive somewhere.

 

I can see that. I drove a cab for a year or two in the early 90's when I was bouncing in and out of careers...I can remember picking up the same sad, knee walking, drunks at bar closing time every single night. Okay I have the list. It is up at the top of the thread. The only ones who didn't confirm are Irish (who I kinda forced in) and Baltimore who seems interested. Tim will take over for whichever if it comes down to it.

The ones that hurt the most were the people you saw occasionally that had their shit together and who you started to see more and more. There was this one guy who was a competitive kick boxer. Total badass dude. Came in like every Friday to grab a bottle of wine. Eventually he was coming in every day and buying 2 bottles.

Or the sorority girls who started the year super hot and finished the year looking tired and run down and having added 15 pounds. I worked with a bunch of college guys and we had a shit ton of fun both during work and after. (We used to have video game tournaments and drink the left overs of partially broken 6 packs after hours...) But there is definitely a sad side to seeing that up close.
