The nuts are running the nut House.

  2. Irish you say the same thing every year...there isn’t a QB worth #1 pick, #2 pick etc...look at Rams and Philly w your thinking...probably picking early teens..you can’t expect a Winston to just fall in your lap ;)

PFF.com Mock Draft 4.0 has us taking Baker Mayfield, Maurice Hurst, Jamarco Jones, D.J. Moore, and Royce Freeman and I'm fully torqued.

I can't wait until the grades are handed out for the draft. Anyone want to guess what Cleveland is going to get? A+... lmao

Sorry for spoiling it for those who like to read those articles lol...

Wentz nor Goff nor Watson would be who they were under Hue. Thus Lime is right. It took coaches playing to these guys strengths to make them successful. With an actual OC now that is a different story. There is a QB worthy of 1 and on a scale of 1-5, he gets a 6.

  7. Ok well then that tells me Hue’s awful in your eyes and he’s still the HC

DeFillippo on Foles (spoiler, they did this with Wentz, too):

There's a reason Philadelphia runs more RPO than any other team in the NFL and why more and more progressive coaches are incorporating it into their playbooks.

I liked this reply only because it made me laugh... I saw Stopper’s reaction and said “of course”. Not saying it’s wrong. Just that I expected a contrarian retort of some kind.

Last I checked my name is not Jim Bob Haslam and I'm not a quick stop tycoon. I was pumped when Hue was hired. I didn't pay much attention to him while he was a HC but I thought his offenses had done a decent job, and he was the "hot" candidate at the time, so I thought it was a good move.

After watching to years of decision making, play calling, etc, it shows that he is over his head. His comments to not pop off the screen, grab you by the throat, smash your head on to your desk telling you "this is a leader of men".

    He is not.

IMHO, the OC was brought in as a fall back. Implement the offense and if Hue falters for half the season they will just roll it over to him and keep everyone else in place.

Right now, Sashi has been made out to be the villain. This is the bill of goods that Hue has sold to Jim Bob. But the leash will be short.

It has to be. The guy could have 2 perfect seasons and only be a game over .500. Im not really sure what record save his job if he doesn't falter, unless they truly have wiped the slate clean.

I'm with on this step for step. Firing Sashi was probably the wrong move. We should have kept him on and just hired an actual football guy to make the picks and have a solid vote on what Vet was going to get cut/traded.

    Ditching Haden made no sense.

Maybe they should just make Haley the head coach.

NO!!! We need someone to actually run the offense, not be bogged down to the point he can't do either job effectively.

I like to think that was Hue's issue but I still don't even see his leadership ability. It will be very interesting this year with the strong personalities of bother Williams and Haley. Will Hue be able to effectively step back and really let each coordinator effectively run his business?
