lmao! That is truly hilarious...How is Gregg Williams the "Pied Piper of defensive coordinators"? smh Hue needs to explain this better. lol!.... Is Haslam the Pied Piper of NFL owners? What about Joe Thomas? Now there's no question that he HAD to be the Pied Piper of offensive tackles....Right? am I getting this?

Ya know I was having hope the Browns were going to turn this thing around, but now I'm starting to question that.

Also, for everyone since they didn't post ridiculous April Fools rumors about the Browns and some Josh Allen-related fiasco and give me a stroke.

MMQB's Peter King was told by a "friend of Cleveland GM John Dorsey" the Browns will select Wyoming QB Josh Allen with the No. 1 overall pick.

The Browns have been strongly linked with USC's Sam Darnold at No. 1, but it appears as if that is not a done deal. The "friend" also expects Cleveland to stay at No. 4 overall and select Penn State RB Saquon Barkley, assuming he is not taken by the Giants at No. 2. Of course, making any declarations about draft intentions at the beginning of April is something of a fool's errand. With at least a couple quarterback-needy teams who could move up, the top of the draft could look dramatically different in a couple weeks.

I've seen a lot of noise about OBJ being traded to us, but the chatter over the picture of him in bed with girls and a strange white substance died out. Is there anything still happening there?

I can't see the Browns trading two #1's for Beckham...Even though he's widely considered the "pied piper" of WR's, the Browns should just avoid that headache...

    Haha!

Hell no. I would not give up a top 4 selection for him. Especially not with his quirky attitude and questionable off field activities. Manchild and Gordon showed us that talent does nothing if you're suspended. I would give up as much as a flipping the #1 and 2, and giving them the 33rd and the 64th. I'll be a good sport and throw in Hogan.

Gotta wonder what's up with New York - they're all over the place. Trying to move a talent - even a headache like Odell - sorta seems like something a team planning to rebuild (and start a rookie QB sooner than later) would do.

    Just sayin'...

Interest here is real. Browns need to improve middle of that defense and Hurst is a great player.

#4 is too high, #33 he won't be there. Bills trade-back scenario from #4?

    YAY! He's a disruptor....I like Hurst a lot. Perfect 3-Tech DT.

I mentioned early on that he reminds me of Sapp....We could use a force like that.

Just finished up the Browns mock...here's what I got:

1.1 SAQUON BARKLEY, RB - PENN STATE
1.4 BAKER MAYFIELD, QB - OKLAHOMA
1.31 CONNOR WILLIAMS, OT - TEXAS
2.3 ISAIAH OLIVER, CB - COLORADO
2.32 RASHEEM GREEN, DE - USC
    4.14 DA'SHAWN HAND, DL- ALABAMA
5.13 KEKE COUTEE, WR - TEXAS TECH
    6.1 GODWIN IGWEBUIKE, S - NORTHWESTERN
7.3 TYQUAN LEWIS, EDGE - OHIO STATE

I'm happy with it. I don't believe the Browns will take anything other than QB at #1, but in the mock world, there was no way I was getting Barkley unless I took him first, and I felt certain Mayfield would be there at #4...The trade to leapfrog Philly at #32 was pivotal. That was a key move for the best OT on the board and it only cost my pick at end of 6th. Well worth it, as it turns out Williams would have been picked had I not moved for him.....I just missed on Hubbard at 2(3), but I loved getting Oliver and Rasheem Green, so I think that worked out well...Da'Shawn Hand was just a value pick. Middle of 4th round for the former #1 recruit in the nation seems like a great pick to me...Coutee will work out of the slot, and hopefully develope like fellow alums Wes Welker and Michael Crabtree....Igwebuike is 4 star recruit from Pickerington North H.S... He was rock solid at Northwestern (2nd team All Big 10) and really stood out at the combine with his athleticism....Tyquan Lewis in the 7th round, really? That's like taking candy from a baby.

I think that is a real possibility, but I do think it depends on who is left at #4. I'm not sure a front office is going to be willing to just accept the #4 of four players and trade away their future unknowingly.

Honestly, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities that Dorsey simply doesn't like any of these QBs enough to spend a high draft pick on one. If that's the case, #1 overall could be available. They WILL decide on a #1 QB, but if that guy is not a solid yes from everyone in the room, then it wouldn't shock me.

Setting your franchise up for years to come is an easier scenario to digest than missing on a QB. In this case, I would put the chances of picking the right guy around 33%. I don't think 4 franchise QBs will come out of this draft...I put the odds closer to 2...and those two won't necessarily come from the first 4 QBs chosen either...

Everyone knows I love draft picks, but trading down is more about the players available than adding more picks. In this draft, to me, there is only one QB to choose from. Even he has some OBVIOUS traits that most others won't ignore when evaluating him. So, for me, if those traits are something that cannot be overlooked, then I am closer to being ok with a trade down for the right offer.

So, moving on from the QBs, there is a RB that seems obvious that he should be a pick early on...then you examine the rest of the field and can anyone really argue that there aren't 3-4 others that COULD end up being better at the next level. This crap shoot that we call the NFL draft is anything but a proven science. There is, what on the surface, seems to be a consensus best edge rusher..until you talk to some other evaluators that have him as their #3. I still don't think there is a consensus at DB, whether that is S or CB, some say James, others Fitzpatrick, while others still have one of 3 CBs, I think most have Ward at the top of their board until you look at his build. (sound familiar, QBs aren't the only position that takes build into account)

This draft has the depth that a team in building mode craves, if given the opportunity to fill the shelves. You are just as likely to get a future pro bowler at #24 as you are at #4. Especially when a QB starved league has 6 prospects to choose from and will push some prospects down further than they should be.

If we are NOT taking a QB in the first 4 spots...That would have to be a consensus from the room as a whole...Then #1 would be a more attractive trade than #4, imho...

#4, you most likely get #12, #22 ..at #1 you take either Barkley or Chubb
#1, you most likely get #12, #22, #53, #56 and a future 2nd...and at #4 you take either Barkley or Chubb

Again, all this depends on their final consensus of where they deem the QBs.
